Default Discolored Sticky Radio *****

Anyone else experience and/or have a solution for the radio ***** discoloring and getting a little sticky? The volume is worse, so I'm assuming it has to do with being touched more than the channel changing ****.

Thanks, Mike

They will hold up just fine. They did get a crackle finish when I tried to take them off at a later date. Another coat of silver and clear and they were good as new again.

Like James1549, I painted the ***** on my factory radio some time back. A good coat of silver with a clearcoat and they looked better than new. I did spray the ***** with a plastic adhesion prep before applying paint. I thought it made the silver adhere much better to the *****.

I used Dupli-color De 1650 cast coat aluminum, most auto parts places carry it ,not a perfect match but good enough
