HI all, recently my crossfire's driver side interior handle has lost tension til about halfway through pulling it. Upon opening the door, the cable and plastic pieces seem to be intact, as pulling on the cable will open the door, and the cable was still attached to the handle when i removed the door panel. Is there a replace cable that you guys are aware of that I could scoop? I looked on ebay with no luck. Any other ideas of how I could get some tension on the cable without replacement is welcome also. Thank you.

 

That cable does not stretch; More than likely it is not routed properly. Look at the thread for door panel removal. Perhaps there is a picture that will help you..

I know this is an old thread but were you able to solve the issue with the interior door handle ? I’m currently having the same problem. The cable looks to be routed properly it just seems to have lost tension. Can’t tell you how annoying this has become. Any input would be appreciated.

If it's a tension issue, maybe you could put a couple of split washers on the cable near wear it connects to the pull handle to increase the tension. Other than that, you might have to replace that cable. Just a thought.
