Would you do it again?
For those that have installed the 8 way motors on the passenger seat were the results as expected ?
Red Runner has an excellent post/PDF on this. (see interior section) https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...s-repairs.html
The 'net' vertical result states the up-down motor will only raise the passenger seat 1.7 inches.
The fact both seats would be 8 way is appealing, however I am requesting feedback as to whether this conversion is worth the time and money. I have shimmed up the passenger seat 1/2 inch and for an adult male it's adequate.
The desire to have both as operational 8 way is why the request for practical feedback. Thanks for the inputs. - CFK

Definitely worth the effort. My wife is 5'0" and the vertical rise gained made it much more comfortable for her. Took me several tries to get it right. Finally found a SLK320 passenger seat track and then it was a piece of cake. Crossfire driver's side seat definitely do not do the job.
We travelled 3,000 Km this summer. My wife commented that she really appreciated the additional adjustability for the trip.
not a big job
There are usually one or two on eBay
its worth the effort.

Nobody has sat in it except me, my wife finds the car to low for her to get into comfortably.
From what I saw it is an pretty simple job 🙄, bluecoupe had done this before on his car all on his own. I started on the job but my back and knees got too painful.
My Wife is 5' 2", she apreciate it a lot on long travel. Money and time was well invested . . . this is another feature that should have been installed before the car came out of the factory.
