Re: St. Louis Metro Owners...
I signed up for the Saturday event. Also registered for the morning items. Can't come on Sunday as I have a concert in the park in Columbia that night. Now if you'd like to cruse up to Columbia for a Concert in the Park, we could have an awesome parking lot. Info at:

Re: St. Louis Metro Owners...
I know a guy in Saint Louis area who has a Crossfire. I do not own one, but maybe you can get him to let me drive his once? He is on here a lot but I do not know his user name. Thanks.
Re: St. Louis Metro Owners...
Im 50 miles west of St. Louis out I-44. Just got my alabaster XF on Friday June 24th. Love it.

All,
We're planning on a cruise Saturday night starting at the Family Arena when the Chrysler Inspired Drive event ends. Tentative plans include a drive through the old section of St. Charles and ending at Wiliker's on 94 for dinner.
I was going to do a cruise both nights but think we'll just do Saturday. Everyone that cruises with us gets a free CD from our music ministry.
If you're interested, send me an email at dbirk@yahoo.com.

Great idea! Even if some owners can't make it for the Chrysler event, it would be neat to see how many Xfires could be gotten together for the drive.
Re: St. Louis Metro Owners...
Is there any information on line about this Chrysler Event at the Family Arena? I'd like to hear more about it so I can see if hubby will take me to it. Then go to the cruise too. Sounds like fun.

Re: St. Louis Metro Owners...
I was driving to St. Louis last Friday from I-44 heading east. I was surprised to see another Crossfire heading in the same direction as me. I passed her and she waved. I was curious if she was a member here. This was a white coupe. Maybe last years model. First 3 digits of MO plate were 126-???. The car had a Don Flier Motors sticker like mine on it. Curious if you're out here...

All,
THE CROSSFIRE CRUISE IS ON!
Meet up with us Saturday night, August 6th, at the Family Arena in St. Charles. Cruise begins promptly at 7:00pm after Chrysler's Inspired Drives event. Click HERE (http://www.giftonthealtar.com/August-6-cruise.doc) for a map and cruise directions. We'll take the scenic route through old Saint Charles and end up at Wiliker's Restaurant for dinner. A short route for our first event, but a nice destination just the same...
If you're joining us or just have questions, send an email to: dbirk@yahoo.com.
Everyone that cruises will receive a free music CD from our music ministry. And this AIN'T your momma's church music.
Look forward to seeing you there!

Since some folks either don't use IE or don't have Microsoft Word, I've also made the map available as a PDF. Go to http://www.giftonthealtar.com/August-6-cruise.PDF to display the map if you have Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Thanks for the interest in the cruise.

Re: St. Louis Metro Owners...
The first St. Louis Crossfire Cruise is now history! While we had a limited turnout, we had a wonderful time meeting VJ and her Alabaster Roadster (so cool). She proves that classy people buy Crossfires!
As for the Chrysler Inspired Drives event, we took video and snapshots. We even recorded VJ's time in the SRT6 as the pro driver put it through its paces. My wife and I are signed up for tomorrow and can't wait. I'll have the video camera in hand as we fly around the course. There were two old Chrysler 300s (1955 and 1960), the 300C Convertible (yes, it does exist!), the 300C Hemi 2+2, and a FOUR DOOR CROSSFIRE concept called the Airflite. Don't think it'll be production seeing that it was first shown in 2003, but it was a cool idea...
I'll post the pics and video from my web site soon. Stay tuned...
For those who couldn't make it today, you missed a good time. But, we're already planning the next cruise for fall. Tentative plans are to have everyone meet up in Augusta and cruise down the curvy, scenic roads and enjoy the fall foliage. Of course, some will want to sample some wine but you can do that AFTER the cruise.
More details coming soon. I'll start a new thread once we get a plan together. If you're interested in the Augusta cruise, send me email at dbirk@yahoo.com.
