I would be in but for this weekend I can't cause of out of town too relatives and then going to vegas 13th thru 17th.

Good dates for Vegas, if you would have gone a week earlier you would have run into some WSOP troubles all over vegas. Final table is this weekend.

 

Now I have booked texas for thanksgiving and mexico for first week of the year and again in march.....

Houston...house shopping.

Looking at a few builders homes for there quality to make a decision.

 

House shopping as in building a house in Houston? or house shopping to find a builder you like to bring them up to Chi...

Where in Houston are you looking? I can recommend a few nice places.

Summerwood is a nice new development on the NE side, and it is about a mile from Lake Houston...my parents currently live there. Then there is always Conroe, Clear Lake, or up in Livingston to stay near to water (which I know is always a plus for you)

If you are wanting to build then Clear Lake and Livingston are mostly out, and very well developed especially close to water.

What about nearthe San Jacinto river....I used to have some buddies that ran fast river boats on it...they are all dead or in prison now.
And yes looking at moving there buying old or building new...

And yes need to be by the water is a must!
Looking at getting a new go-fast this spring....been awhile since I owned a 11 second boat....kinda miss it...been in big fast ones lately...like the lil ones the best!

Summerwood is right near the San Jac (less than 10miles)...San Jac flows into Lake Houston, IIRC. Kingwood is another suburb that has a dock that goes right onto the San Jac. That's where I grew up. Summerwood is nicer IMO. You also have a bunch of developments right on Lake Houston with waterfront property. I thinks some of them even have docks. Check out W. Lake Houston Parkway between FM1960 (or even Kingwood Dr. - further north) and Beltway 8. I'll be down there from 12/23-1/4. Let me know if you are down there then, we'll grab a beer.

 

Damn RIOT, that's a long way for me to get a fast boat ride....but I always wanted to visit Houston rather than drive thru it....lol
