Southwest MI Crossfire owners?
While there are more Crossfire owners in the Detroit area and the Woodward Cruise is certainly a great time, there appears to be some interest in a GTG in SW Mi. There's not many of us over here, but there is safety and fun in numbers.
Realizing that most Crossfires are hibernating, it's still a good time to start thinking about some activities for next spring/summer. I'm not real creative, but Holland or Grand Haven state parks are good places to meet, or a wine tour and tasting, or just a weekend breakfast meeting at one of the many mom+pop restaurants, and maybe the Grand Rapids cruise next summer. I, personally, love an occasional greasy spoon breakfast!
I'll be glad to put together an email distribution and facilitate ideas. This may be a total flop but it could also be fun -- an opportunity for us to actually meet in person and chat about our babies, service, and upgrades. Feel free to send me an email via the forum or directly at jjaiven@chartermi.net. BTW, I'm based in Holland MI.

Though I would bump this to the top of the stack with an update. I've heard from a few interested forum members plus when reading posts, I've seen a few other west Michiganders.
Responded with interest:
- jimmyjet
- rusty monroe
- crossfirefrank
Others on our half of the state:
- 62thunderbird
- kckey12
- ugurduruk
- my son who is not a forum member but drives the 2007
Anyway, lots of suggestions about breakfast/lunch and shopping in Saugatuck, the Traverse City area (brewpubs, etc), and wine tasting in deep southwest MI or under the lake. All great ideas and dutifully recorded. At this point my Crossfires are plowed into storage so it's too early to plan anything concrete, but if someone wants to recommend a nice family restaurant in Saugatuck, Holland, or Grand Haven for a breakfast run on a Sunday morning, recommend away. I'll get more serious about this in mid-April.

I also live and work in Holland.
Just bought an 05 coupe in Black.
I'd be very interested in any events.

Live in GR and work downtown Holland. I drive the 05XF every day on the M6. 365. It's my commuter. and lotsa fun. A GTG sounds great. Wine tasting sounds better!
If the weather cooperates, looks like a good opportunity in Kalamazoo on 27 June. It's just a GTG and European sports cars are welcome. No entry fee. It sounds like not too many Crossfires have appeared. I think I'll take the SRT6.

Ok guys, this month on the 27th we are having the 3rd monthly Kalamazoo Cars and Coffee meet. Tony on Audizine and anther guy on a Bimmer forum are the organizers. This will be the 3rd meet, and we are trying to make it bigger. The first one in April had a Bimmer guy that drove all the way from Ontario! Its mostly Euro, but a few Evos and STIs show up. The last meet a guy in a Carrera GT was there! WE NEED MORE AUDI'S! Its going to be in the parking lot of a huge local bar called Wayside and it starts at 8 a.m. You won't be disappointed! I am going to post in some the other forums, but it would be great if you could pass the word around. Sorry, its gonna be at Panera Bread on 5119 West Main.

JimmyJet and I are trying to get some XF owners together at The Butler in Saugatuck on Saturday, 21 August, around 2pm for late lunch and cocktails. Any takers? I did send some emails to members who had responded in the past but did not have emails for others. If you send to me your email, I'll forward details.
