It is going to be difficult to top last year with all the fun drives we had (incl 2 Dragon meets) best of all was our first Dragon and attending the wedding. Still looking forward to 2010; be safe and see you all at the next organized meet.

Ok Gang, time to kick off the 2010 season with the first Gateway event.
Eagle Days is upon us once again. (this is a NON-CROSSFIRE event)
Last year we counted over 400 Bald Eagles on cliffs and river. It was on the cool side and we had a bit of snow...
OK truth is it was very cold but we all had a great time and got a chance to get very close to both a Bald Eagle and a Golden Eagle at the show.

We will be meeting on Sat. Jan. 30th at 10:00am in the parking lot of the Phillips 66 in front of Dierbergs on Salt Lick Rd. just off of Hwy 70.
If anyone has any questions feel free to to email me shark067@yahoo.com
See everyone there.

You are on the list. We brought our Jeep last year due to the threat of snow and ended up needing it.
We will be traveling to Clarksville, MO. There are only 2 ways there. Either up Hwy 79 from Hwy 70 where we are meeting or cross over the Hwy 54 bridge at Louisana, MO and then travel south on Hwy 79.
Just let me know which way you are coming.

P.S. How was Florida?

Florida was great! High 60's low 70's everyday only rained once and Teresa meet all the rodents in the Magic Kingdom and then a few we didn't know at the three other parks! We had a good time. After we got home we picked up a new puppy for the new year, He's an English bulldog named Hemi (We will always be Mopar fans, and besides he's built like an engine block!) Have Mrs Shark show the Facebook pictures!
I'll look at the map tonight and let you know if we will meet you there or come down and follow the group to Clarksville.

Of course - myself and my wife Val are up for this. As I sometimes (and Val also, actually) travel on short notice - I have to say pencil us in. We have four vehicles - so we will drive one or the other - based on the weather forecast. And , of course - I will keep you guys informed on the status, vehicle, etc.

Regards,
The Em4ce's (Shawn and Val.

BTW; I should have mentioned that Eagle Days is an all ages event. Since most of us probably will not be bringing our X-fire's (a.k.a. 2-seaters) feel free to bring the young ones along. This is a great up close experience for them as well.

I've already thought of that and I'm afraid we might have to be like the Sharks and buy another Crossfire, just so I can still attend the GCG outings, otherwise, these correspondents will be from Hemi, because Teresa might take him over ME!

I wouldn't worry too much, Hemi will never be able to fix a flat on the road so your job is safe...

Well, the wife said we are more than likely going to bring some vermin with us (our nieces); actually they are pretty good kids. We may even have her brother and his wife come along...if by chance the weather is clear as well as the roads, I may will consider driving my car as more than two people in a car just doesn't seem right anymore....

Kell,

The January 30th date looks good to us.

Are you going to the Tale of the Dragon Event?

Rick
