Ruth, have you gone dumpster diving for the original muffler yet?

Let's get one thing straight...this is my car and exhaust and she can look all she wants (it's in the garage) but it won't be going back on my car until I decide....

The other thing, I couldn't hear a thing you said here....

Now a diversion. I came across another Oyster Gold on the forum who is in MO; screen name is beachwalker2009. I've invited him/her/them to join us sometime if they are close enough.

I hear ya dude!
I also wonder if the gold one you found is the one she could have had from South County Dodge if she would have made her mind up sooner! But alas, it all worked out in the end (thanks to autodog transport!)

Hello everyone, hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather.
I'd like to take a moment to introduce our newest member to GCG stlouisramsfan.

I know Crossfires Across America is less than 2 months away and many of you have very busy schedules. However there is still time to get a run in together. Take a look at your calenders and see if Sat May 29th works for you. I know that is memorial day weekend and some of you may be going out of town, but for those of you who will be around, what better way to spend a day than with great friends who share a common passion. Please let me know asap and I'll start forging a plan.

Single isn't what it used to be, I mean, while the missus is gone I get to sleep with a great 100lb blonde with a tongue that could probably remove someones tonsils, (not speaking from personal experience). Only problem is the blonde is a dog, and no dog is not a euphemism, and he has horrible doggy breath. hehe

Anyway, I'll cook something up for us.

Wow, not sure which is scarier, the fact that you posted that pic, or that you had it on your computer to begin with... LOL

Kell,

Our schedule is open for that weekend. What did you have in mind?

Not sure yet, might be a run down one of our famous twisty curvy roads ending in a picnic. We will have to see how many people are interested.

Any word yet on the end of the month?

By the way, I met the husband of my car's twin when we stopped to fuel up. He's going to see if they can join up with us at the end of the month. They've not yet signed up on the forum, but we'll see before too long...I hope.

As of right now I haven't been committed, but give the doctors time to get scared.

Yes, we should be able to make it, a lot just depends on what happens between now and then.

We are not sure exactly what our schedule is that weekend yet. The kid is singing at the Cardinals game that weekend, so most likely we will have a wet weekend which is not good for the convertible owners anyway! We will most likely know our schedule by the end of this weekend.

Put us down as "will be there if at all possible"

I agree that is a great place to visit. The only downside is that it is 200 miles from St. Louis. I'll plan it for a fall trip later this year.

Talking Re: Gateway Crossfire Group

*update* This event has been canceled due to conflict of schedules over the holiday.
Watch for re-schedule date to be posted.

Kell

Hello all. The Gateway Crossfire Group has a get-together planned for Sat. May 29. We will be meeting at the Cracker Barrel in Fenton, MO across from the old Chrysler plant at 9:00 am. The trip will take us down Old Hwy 21 and then cut over some good twisty curvy roads and end up in Bloomsdale MO at the National Tiger Sanctuary for a viewing and feeding of the tigers and lunch for ourselves.
Lunch will either be catered by a local restaurant or we may bring a picnic. Majority rules on this so let me know.
The National Tiger Sanctuary is running a buy one get one (bogo) free special for the tours this weekend.
That means it is just $25.00 per couple to watch the feeding tour. You will be standing a mere 3 ft from the tigers while they are being fed. For those of you who want a real thrill, you may sign up to be the person to actually feed the tigers. The normal cost for this is $75.00.
I will be checking to see if the bogo applies to this as well.

If you have never had a chance to view these magnificent creatures up close, now is your chance.
Whether you are a current member of our group or would just like to check us out, come out and join us for the day.
To sign up to join us please post a message, send me a PM, or feel free to send me an email at shark067@yahoo.com.
See you soon.

Kell

The tiger has been my all time favorite animal...good thing my dogs don't read this forum.

We'll talk with you this weekend to see what we can do; our daughters are coming in that weekend with the oldest taking the first of her CPA tests, so much will depend on how far and how long we will be out.
