Another red....dreamy. However, I just realized that we'll now have two sharks circling Franc...I may move back to the back for this drive, I can imagine just how crazy it could get.

Good Morning GCG. I have the routing for the "2010 Spring GCG Rally" completed. Normally I would spend a bunch of space here telling you turn by turn what we are going to do. This year I am going to let Google do it for me. I have too much homework and honeydo's to complete.
  • Start: Riverfront Park in Alton, IL. 9:00-9:15 a.m. April 17th, 2010.
  • Breakfast: Pere Marquette Lodge in Grafton, IL 10:00 a.m.
  • Middle: Approximately 173 miles of Illinois scenic driving tour with unscheduled stops along the way for sight seeing, antiquing and snacking and personal business. MAP
  • End: Fast Eddie's Bon Air in Alton, IL. *must be 21* *cash only*
If anyone has any questions,or wishes to join us, please post a message or email me shark067@yahoo.com.
*Just a note, As a rule of thumb I DO NOT schedule events that mandate a minimum age requirement. However there have been several request for Fast Eddies in the past and I try to accommodate when I can.*

Driver's List
  1. SharkO67
  2. Mrs._Shark067
  3. Franc Rauscher
  4. Cruxpyr Femella (maybe, c'mon Cathy, you know you want to)
  5. The Erzers's
  6. G&T1stxfire
  7. The Sonza's
  8. emforce's (maybe, must be hanging out with Cathy.. )
See everyone there..
Kell

I will be there if I can - either by myself or with my better half. Don't wait for me, DON'T WAIT FOR ME! (this is a line from Jaws - just so you know)

Ok, I finally looked at the map...you'll have to educate me on how you did that....nonetheless, man that is confusing, so we better have our radios and cells charged.

Not a problem, it's not as difficult as it looks. Besides, Greg is the "official" tour guide. Since I couldn't get him to step out of the room for pizza, I just held an election the moment he logged offline.

Everybody make sure you thank Greg now.

If you have room for another couple, my wife and I would like to join you. We live in Godfrey, so getting to Riverview Park will be a breeze for us. It sounds like a real nice drive. We're driving a 2006 Aero Blue Roadster.

Looking forward to meeting you all.

I was just looking at the map, for the route. Is everyone meeting at Riverview Park or Riverfront Park? Riverview Park is up off of Bluff St and looks to be out of the way. It looks like Riverfront Park would be best for a meeting place. I just wanted to clear up any confusion.

Great to have another along. I'll call Sharkie (I bet he won't like that ) and see.

Looking at the map, it would be Riverfront Park...that is where I plan to be in the better color car (sorry, wife loves the blue).

Hey Tom, we are looking forward to having you join us next week. I just looked back at my original plan and I see where I wrote Riverview Park.
We are actually meeting at Riverfront Park. Thanks for catching that, It was early when I wrote it originally. I'll go in and correct it.
Anyway we will meet you there around 9:00.
