Great time today guys. The rain hardly dampened a thing.
Question, what happened to conservative driver Lou? Hot and fast all the way home.

Lou had to drive that fast..... So he could take you on the scenic route!!!! We went West on 15, and saved about 4 miles that's how we passed you gettin off 64. We had a great time though, and enjoyed seeing everyone!

I know, having tried to explain that to him. I think he listened to his Garmiin and we just followed.

But really, he was heavy footed all the way home. I finally just let himn go on ahead on I 64 and held it at 70 MPH.

Good so see you guys,as always a hoot.

He was itching after watching Greg let a big ol caddy creep up the hill.

Not sure where you all headed to off 64, I guess Ruth and I didn't understand what was going on until too late...oh well.

Great seeing everybody, but next time you and Cathy will need to have more time to socialize.

We needed to fill and empty tanks.
Funny too because as we went south on 127 Greg and Teresa came north

BTW Greg, the girl with the two dogs was really pretty. But tell Teresa not to worry,. I would never cheat on her.

We are looking for ideas of places to drive to, or roads you would like to drive for future get-togethers. Please post your ideas on this thread, send me a PM, or use that Facebook thingy (technical term) to the wife...

ERZER,

Your wife had a good suggestion for a SW MO foray. A bit far for our Springfield friends and three hours in and Three out for St Louis folks. That said, some beautiful rivers, springs, and roads to be had

Closerto Home,we nver made it to Alley Springs. Perhaps adirect flight down 19from CUBA MO woud make for a fun day. We can assume there might be a winery in the CUBA area.

A shot down to Van Buren MO, Big Springs and then back home via 21/47 and home.

ST Charles County can cut thru Union, we all meet in Sullivan for a start, and at the end split there as the St Louis crowd (and Springfield) go east.

With site vists and a lunch, 8 hours tops.

None of the roads are straight and Interstate travel (except for Springfield) is minimal.

Correction, Ruth, Cathy, and Teresa.

I know we will be leaving STL area around 12ish when Ruth gets off work. Hopefully we'll have some more tonight and we can let those in IN who are joining up know when we will be at the "final" destination.
