Default CCC - How about a get together at the track - HPR

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to see if anyone would be interested at a gathering at High Plains Raceway sometime this month for a bit of driving fun?

There are 3 Cars only days on the coming Fridays.
First one is next Friday, Sept 11th, then again on Sept 18th, and Sept 25th.
High Plains Raceway | Your Colorado Performance Driving and Racing Future

Its a 2.5 mile road course, has some very enjoyable twists, turns, hairpins, elevation changes, and long straights to get the blood pumping, and the tires hot and sticky.

If you don't want to run on the track yourself, you can join in as a co-pilot in one of the other cars to get a chance to experience the track firsthand. I would be more than happy to take anyone out for a spin.

Admission is free to just hang out, or to be a passenger in a car that goes out on the track. If you want to drive your car, its $90 if you pay in advance online, or $100 if you pay after you get there for 4 hours (8 am through 12 pm or 1 pm through 5 pm), or $150/160 for the full day from 8 am through 5 pm.

The only restriction is that you will need a helmet.
Doesn't matter if its for motorcycles or cars, and can be either full or full facial.

Anyone interested?

BC.

Woohoo - c'mon out on the 25th if you'd like to witness the rarely seen event of Bat driving slow!!

Yes, I will admit that my last trip to the track, as a passenger, I discovered that putting a car on the equivalent of a rollercoaster and hauling booty - while stupid good fun - made me realize that I don't even possess imaginary cajones (DAMN!). And here I thought I was pretty fierce. Although everyone assures me it will be different when I'm the one driving.

Still, I have this sneaking suspision that my drive down there will rank higher speeds that my actual track time but we shall see.

We will definitely be going back and a whole group of Crossfires taking over the track would just be wicked good fun!
