It was great meeting everybody today - we had a GREAT time! Thanks to everyone who pulled it all together and to Tony for giving service above and beyond - It sure was interesting having so many Crossfires all in a row and a Prius in the mix!!!

I TOLD you that you'd see a marked improvement....
It was a great day except for those who met up with the Gestapo!!!!
Still, it was fun and the guy that came from Fall River, pretty nice guy for a Solstice owner .

Rick,
How'd she drive with the different intake? I am sure you must have seen a little difference. I know I did. Not a hole ot but it sure helps her breath better.

To All,

I hope everyone enjoyed the tour at The Belcourt Castle. Mrs.Tinny is a great lady and I am so glad she got to conduct some of our tour! I don't think she wanted to do the stairs though.
It was a pretty cool place steeped in history, as all those mansions are. But the Belcourt actually had the automotive history behind it, which I thought was fitting for a car club. Also they were the best to deal with for setting up our little event. Others wanted too much money and hassles.

To All:
It was great meeting you all today. Sorry I couldn't continue on to Colt with the rest of the crowd.
And I apologize to all the women that I inflicted my music on, if you don't care for my CD, please feel free to toss it, I won't feel bad.

Maybe I'll get the ECU tune next time. I'll wait until all new owners chime in on the good or bad.

Anyway, great weather, great people, great day.

Peace
Paul

Didn't notice much difference with the ECU tune, but Anthony said it would take time fore the computer to relearn everything. We'll see!

Hi all,
I'm sure you had a great day with the weather being perfect. Bill got held up in LA and was sorry to miss it. I drove home from NH yesterday, late afternoon in my Crossfire. Great ride, except for all those other slow pokes!

Good one Reno!
Barb, we missed you and Bill!

If someone wants to setup a single photo site for all to load their pics onto that would be great. Like Photobucket or that Fisheye site. Just let everyone know the login and password so we can give and take photos. Copy the URL into a thread for people to access.
Can't wait to see the rest of the pics!

Good morning all! Once again, a great time yesterday at the Newport Cruise. The Members of -N-E-X- are a great group of people to spend the better part of a day with.

I just uploaded 59 photos to my User Gallery (Xfirenorth) titled "-N-E-X- Newport Cruise". They're mostly car pics but there are a few people pics too.

I don't know how to add a link to the gallery, and whether or not you can put it is a slide show mode. If someone could explain that I would appreciate it.

Bob

Hello guys
Just thought i would say i had an awesome time on Saturday! What a great group of people! The BBQ went really well and there was definately a nice spread of food.. thank you all for making it so nice..

Stan thanks for meeting up with me in Wrentham.. it made going alone MUCH nicer...

and for the record... i think i am going to fight the speeding ticket... i will just switch my day off to the court date... i hate to say it but i had a feeling that morning somethign like that would happen... at least we got a story out of it... so Derek and Stan.. maybe we can make a lunch date if we all go to court that day and plead speed insanity...

Hi Paul, ...Just a short note to let you know that after seeing the chrome grill on your XFire, I had Anthony (TVT) put one on mine while we were at Colt State Park. Both Lorna and I think it looks great! It's the first visual mod we've done to the car. It was nice to take Anthony up on his offer to install it right there so I didn't have to do it, and possibly screw it up.

As far as my inital assessment of the ECU Tune, refer to my reply in the "Newport Performance" thread. I purposely didn't do the Sprint Booster yet so I could do a better "before and after" assessment of the tune. Then when I finally try the SB I will be in a better position to pass judgement on that mod.

It was great to meet you on Saturday. You missed quite a lunch at the cookout. You really missed out on Jen's homemade Turtles. Those were fabulous! I would like to make a motion that Jen brings her Turtles to every Crossfire meet/hookup/cruise.

To all that showed up to the cruise, a great big thank you!!! I would call this a successful event. Great people, great drive and wonderful cars. Even getting screwed up in traffic was fun. I'd like to thank Alen for the use of the Walkie Talkie, it proved to be invaluable in terms of communications. To all that brought food and to those who cooked, to Tony who worked his butt off, Stan for the engine cover that sounds great, to Stan, Jen, Derek....sorry about the tickets. And to everyone that came, the new people and the people that went to the Cape. Newport was fantastic enough that I make a motion that we make the cookout portion an annual event.
