Re: Summer Outing at my place!
Can I come if I can get out of what I was going to do? When and where is it?
Crossfirefun, I didn't believe it when Bruce told me about your milagephobia. I grew up in Texas and 108 miles is a trip to the corner store, heck the engine doesn't warm up until 300 miles.
Will Crossfire Trail be there? He sounds like a fun guy.

It doesn't really bother me I just like the joke. I drive over 1000 miles a week for my job so I don't really enjoy driving any other time. Plus I do plan to keep this car forever!

Re: Summer Outing at my place!
Thanks Stan and family. I had a great time. Got drenched on the way home though. Crossfires shed water over the roof at 80 if you're interested. Just had to floor it till I found an overpass. Luckily only a little water wet the door, center console never even got damp. Time to start cleaning for tm. show. It was great meeting everyone again.
Thanks again
Thanks again

NEX Members,
I just wanted to say "Thank you" to the members that came to my outing this past saturday. It was great to get together again! We did have a chance to show off our cars and educate some more folks about our fine machines!
I know it's hard to meet everyone's schedule, so we have to set dates and go from there. Hopefully, we will have more participation in the near future.
Rick, thanks for being the Assistant Chef, I really appreciated the help.
Bruce & Phil, Thanks for making the drive!
Phil, The deviled eggs were good. Hope your car didn't melt in that rain!
Robby, It was good to see you again, even if you only live 2 towns away. Thanks for the watermelon.
All in all, the party was a great time with tons of people.

Re: Summer Outing at my place!
It was my pleasure to do some cookin', country style. As for the pictures I took, and they were good too. The operative word there is WERE, seems I uploaded them yesterday and lost them, I deleted the flash card so, no pictures as yet. Still working on it though!!!
The outing was wonderful and you have some great nieghbors as well as a host of top notch friends and family, it was such a pleasure to meet them all. Cil and I had a great time and I'm sure we will do it again. Perhaps a picnic somewhere fairly close by. Goddard Park is great and I easy to get to. Perhaps we can see if anyone wants to do this in early October.
I'll start a thread to see if there is any interest, hopefully better than we've had of late.
Rick
