Hey Nightrider, ...Do you know if the white 1954 Corvette is a kit or original. I saw one a few weeks back at a Shell Station in my area and it looked too good to be a restoration. I'm wondering if that may be the same car.

CROSSFIRENORTH I know the owner of the white vette. It is original. His wife is the woman dressed in '50's dress with the red/white '57 convertible. That was my fav vette. I judge C-3 and C-4 vettes and 60's Olds / GMs The red GTO won. He sort of treats it like Casper does his X-fi so I doubt it was the same. BUT it is show room condition. Guy's name is Kelly (can't think of his first name) from Ledyard CT. Him and Christine are fanatics about their vehicles and win alot of shows.
BHAYES The copper color car was cutom built on a mopar frame. Don't know much about it...sorry but it was wild.

Thank you for that info, Nightrider! The 54 Vette I saw looked so good I thought it may have been a "kit-car". Does anyone know if such a kit is available?

Yes, there are kits for the current style that makes it into the 54. There are two or threee folks around here with lots of money who have done them. I see them at the Oakland beach show on Tuesday. I'll take some pics for you. There is a white one, red, black. They are quite nice and quite expensive. I'll try and find out where they had them done and from where the kits originate.
