After getting mostly all my pm's back it has been voted to
cancel sunday. Not sure if there will be a reschedule as I plan
on putting my car away for the season. They are already forecasting
snow showers for my area.

Well now, I knew my ears were ringing for some reason but I didn't get a call from anyone until last night, from Stan, about Nightrider's unfortunate accident. After being the brunt of so many jokes, I'm not sure if I want to go anywhere with the group of you, the mustard came out fine. Only kidding about not being there. It appears as though it's being cancelled? Due to a chance of rain? Is that what I'm hearing?
So many questions, so little time.
Yes, I have been absent for a while from the forum. Not for any good reason just being busy.
Haven't been feeling terribly well either, have a bit of poison sumac or something that's painful and persistant. On my back and on my leg, my left one.
Before any jokes are started, my dog must have walked into a patch of it one night, in the darkness and I didn't see it. Wearing shorts and a short sleeved t-shirt that I left not tucked in my pants, made for an easy target for his paws against my skin.
Beyond that, there really isn't much to report.
Car is great and I love it more than my coupe, if you can believe that. Going topless isn't just for ladies!!!! Farm life is tough too, I have crops and animals to tend to. It's only a game but it is fun!
Love y'all, Rick

Hey Rick, Sorry hear about the poison sumac. I'm glad to hear the mustard came out ok. I didn't mean to start anything with the joke, just thought it was funny and thought it would get your attention as we hadn't heard from you for awhile.

Robbie my friend, I could never be angry at you for making a joke about a funny incident.
Don't you worry about that, the mustard came out. We had a great time that day, I'm surprised that you made it through the day without falling asleep, having come right from working all night and then, leving and going off to work. You are a better man than I am, Gunga-Din!

Why don't we reschedule for next weekend. If there is no snow up there then we can go for it. Phil, can you get a head count for the 24th or 25th?

Snow? Well I'm not missing that but I do miss you guys. It is supposed to be in the high 80's on Saturday. The only excitement for my Crossfire in the near future is replacing my intercooler pump (thanks for detailing your experience with it Robbie), and as you guys pointed out at the wine tasting meet my recirculating valve cover is leaking oil. Instead of cleaning my valve cover I need to bite the bullet and replace the seal before the spark plug chamber fills up with sludge.

Oh and on to sports matters. As a Red Sox fan will I be shunned upon for all of time if I back the Yankees on this one? I went to ALDS Game # 1 against the Angels and I officially hate the Angels. Their fans act like they are so die hard and they can't even fill a stadium at a play-offs game - what is that all about?

That's exactly what the dog was doing!!! POOPING. You see, my dog is no ordinary dog, he must go in the woods to poop. He absolutely won't do it in his yard, nor anywhere else that's easily accessable, no way!! He must find a spot that has rocks so he can go against it, a fence will do as well, if there are dried leaves, he'll leave it there too. He'll pee anywhere but not poo.
Now about THIS Sunday, are we going to cruise or what?
Rick

I called Stan on BOTH phones and no reply, so can't say as if anything is happening fer shure. Nightrider, I'd go and pick you up if we travel down that way which would be nice. Maybe we can get some others to chime in for the following weekend? Or even this one, for that matter, let me know, it's supposed to be a great Sunday, perfect time for a before winter cruise to lokk at scenery.

Let's see if I can PM some folks while I'm on here, Casper is again MIA (on vacation no less) keeps him off the radar.
The weather is supposed to be lousy on saturday, but sunday is supposed to be nice.
Anyone that has run a message on this thread should get a notification but I'll make doubly sure and send them a notice. This may be our last excuse to bring our cars out in fairly nice weather.

I wish to thank all the New England Xfire and Patriot Guard Riders that sent me encouragement and get wells while I was laid up recovering from my MC crash. I will be out of work for the next 8-12 weeks with some ortho surgery.

My V-Rod probally won't be going anywhere again as its frame is bent.

Hoping we can do a short Halloween cruise next weekend or Vet's Day parade, should anyone know of a good Vet Day parade.
