So Long Nex And Forum
So Long Nex And Forum
HI all,
I have asked the mods to delete my profile. I don't own my Crossfire anymore. I still have the NEX facebook page up but may be deleting that soon.
If anyone wants to step up and take over as a leader for NEX that would be great! Please let me know by contacting me on the New England Xfires Facebook page. OR nex.blackxfire@yahoo.com. I will be glad to help. I will pass along the NEX logo to be used to however takes over.
It has been great fun meeting and driving with everyone! I miss my Crossfire and NEX but life goes on.
I would like to see NEX survive because I put in alot of hard work, for a couple of years, forming the group, rallying people together and managing it as much as possible. With the help of 2 other Founding Member's who have moved on as well.
It seems the most active person in the area is Acripsy1 from Long Island, he has formed Long Island Crossfires but has been instrumental in keeping NEX members in the loop about show in New York and New England. Thanks Tony!!

Thanks for the well wishes you all!
I am currently in San Antonio on Active Duty with the Air National Guard. I am attending BioMedical Equipment Technician school. Hoping when/if I graduate,(it's a very difficult school, intense), I will be able to line up a full-time gig in the field of bio-med. Some of you know I have been out of work for over 2 years and struggling to hold on to car and house, etc. I hope that's all in the past now.
The Gov. would not ship my car out here so I had to turn it in. I couldn't justify making payments while it sat around for a year or more while I am away on Active Duty.
I see alot of Crossfire here in the area and it makes me miss my car and it also makes me remember the good times had and good people I have met because of NEX and owning a Crossfire.
PS: Next year when I get back to MA I will have some Crossfire things to clean out of my garage and sell.

Hey, man ,sorry you had to sell your XF. I know how I would feel if I had to sell mine. I used to be a Bio-med tech for Beckman years ago. I am having some health problems and can't drive for awhile ( August), send me a PM. I love S.A., my wife and I would be glad to drive over and take you to dinner sometime, maybe let you drive my XF a little just so you don't lose touch. Send PM with contact info, I'll do the same.

Your welcome Stan. sorry to hear that you are leaving us, I was looking forward to seeing you at the Mystic show and then hit Foxwoods casino like we did last year. Has anyone contacted you about keeping NEX alive? I would love to take it over but I mainly do Connecticut shows and it would be more appropriate for someone in the New England states that knows the area and can arrange meets to take it.
As far as NEX fb page, before you delete it how about just renaming it to North East Crossfires? I would love to be the administrator.
Good luck Stan....

Re: So Long Nex And Forum
Wow, I just saw this thread for the first time. Stan was great, it's sad to see him go. I was there for the very first meeting of NEX at IHOP in Bourne several years ago. This was truly a great group of people. I live in California now but pop in occassionaly to see what has been going on. I hope that NEX is able to continue on.
