Question New Member

Hi Everyone!
I think I may have tried to post in the wrong spot before.
Hopefully I got it right this time.
I am the proud owner of a 2005 Crossfire Coupe I just
bought. I am here to learn more about my car with the
help of all of you.
I am a 69 yr little old lady who hasn't grown up yet. Retired
and enjoying that! (yes, I am a blonde!) Really.
Seriously, the 1st question I have is: How do you tell the
difference of a SRT6 and just a regular coupe? I didn't
know it when I bought my car but when the spoiler opens it
says AMG on it. Tell me about that. Thanx, Sandi

Welcome,
All SRT's have a fixed wing mounted on the back and all the others have a smaller wing that raises and retracts.
This applies to coupes and roadsters for all years

sounds like you have a non SRT with an AMG sticker under the wing... a bit of false advertisement, I would probably take the decal off

Welcome aboard Sandi....if the wing goes up it's not an SRT6. You may want to get in touch with KimPossible....she owns a XF and lives in Central Florida.

Welcome to the forum Sandi. Congrats on the purchase of your Crossfire. If you like the way that AMG sticker looks I wouldn't give it a second thought. Just enjoy your car.

Welcome Ms Sandi,

Enjoy that XF, it is a fun car! I think everyone one is correct that you have a Limited model. I would pull the sticker off as suggested. If the wing Spoiler goes up or down it is not an SRT6. You will still have a lot of fun with the car. A few mods and it will scoot pretty well, not as fast as an SRT6, but still fast.

Again welcome, always someone around you that is willing to help if you need it.
