New Owner: SRT6, Machine Gray Crystal Pearl, 22K Miles
Aloha, all,
New owner here. Proud to be the member of a club I've been wanting to be in for some years now, but never had the $$. As a second vehicle, my new SRT6 is going to be a garage hermit which will likely never see more than 500 miles a year, so likely I will be on here to discuss maintenance, showing tips, and parts. I'm looking forward to many great discussions, and again, I am so proud to finally be a member!
2 Questions:
1. DOES THIS SITE OFFER AN APP LINK/DOWNLOAD FOR MY SAMSUNG GALAXY?
2. SRT6 OWNER "MUST-KNOWS"/TIPS
Have a great day, everyone!

Only 500 miles a year? You will not fully experience the joys of an SRT-6. You may want to check out the Northwest Crossfire Club (NWCC) as they have frequent group events in your area.
I do not know if your SRT-6 is modified or not, but you can gain about 50-60 HP by doing the following:
1) Install a dual cold air intake from Needswings (Performance auto parts & aftermarket auto accessories for your car, specializing SRT4, Crossfire SRT6, SLK32, C32 AMG, VR-4)
2) Get a 62mm supercharger pulley from Rudy (rcompart)
3) Get an ECU tune from Eurocharged
These mods will put the extra "permagrin" on your face.

I'm somewhat curious as to your color listed as Machine Gray, since only the 2006 SRT6's models were painted in this color. What are the last 5 numbers of your VIN#, to determine the year it was manufactured.
We have a "sticky" with a listing of the VIN#'s of those SRT6 models found over the years, check it out....

Re: New Owner: SRT6, Machine Gray Crystal Pearl, 22K Miles
Thanks for the welcome, everyone! For those urging me to spin the tires a bit more than 500 a year: yes, it's an awesome car yearning to be driven, and that mileage per year is only an estimate, but to be honest, I want to keep the miles low while keeping the thrill high, so I'd like to keep it around 500-700 miles a year. At 38 years old, and this being strictly a second, "tinkerering" hobby car, not only am I not using this as a daily driver, I am not apt to go bombing around very often. That said, we've got some AMAZING open country out where I live and I intend to take advantage of the miles upon miles of straight and curvy empty backroads. AND as suggested here by itsky, I will definitely be active in the NWCC, including rallys, which may mean >500 miles in some years! Thanks for welcoming me!
CORRECTION: I had written Machine Gray, because that's what the Chrysler site's color options gave me. It is instead a GRAPHITE GRAY SRT6. And while I do like the flatter, milkier Machine Gray, I'm actually really, really digging the sly look of the darker Graphite. I have tried and tried to attach a photo with no luck; is it possible to post a photo in my threads w/o the url? Hints in general on photo posting would be really helpful.

Or................. you can press the "Go advanced" button in the bottom of the quick reply screen and then click "Manage Attachments" , the button way below the advanced box's text area. A box will pop up, use a BROWSE button, that is, press one of them and go find the picture you want. Click it and then click then click the "OPEN" button. The window closes and you are back to the browsing box. Click UPLOAD (a lot of people miss that step).
The picture should be there. But it's just a thumnail! Ya gotta click it to get the full sized image.
And you DO want to see it, dont' you?

Re: New Owner: SRT6, Machine Gray Crystal Pearl, 22K Miles
Hey, I really appreciate the help, everyone. Here now is a photo of my new SRT6:
Again, I'm very happy to be a part of the club!
NOTE: Fellow Oregonians, please don't hesitate to hit me up. I'll be on the watch for you, as well.
I would love to see your Crossfire and talk shop. Also, if anyone in the area owns a base model in a different color, a Limited, or a convertible, I'd especially like to see your vehicle, as each have their own unique personalities. Personally, for me it was between an Alabaster White base model that had been babied, or this Graphite Grey SRT6. Had I found a Limited or Convertible with lower miles than the ones I did find, those would have been contenders, as well.
I just think that this is one of the neatest post-1968 American made vehicles I've ever seen and I can't wait to see mine mingling amongst a few others. What a site that will be!
Cheers, all!
