Post New to CrossfireForum

My name is Jim and my wife, Barb. We just purchased our second Crossfire. This one is an 2004 Saphire Silver Metallic coupe. We just really like the style and handling of the car. Looking forward to meeting and perhaps traveling with another owner. We are getting closer to retiring everyday and hope to be in
the coming months.

Welcome Jim and Barb
Glad ya found us here.
As Ray said we are having a large Crossfire owners meet in the mountains in North Carolina on October 4, 5, 6.

Several from Indiana, Michigan and Ohio are traveling together after meeting (and/or) staying at the Comfort Inn in Florence, Kentucky on Thursday night and leaving there on Friday morning for the 5 hour drive to Fontana Lodge.
You can also just meet the rest on Friday morning around 8am at the hotel there.
We have been doing this meet since fall of 2007 with people from all across the US coming with their Crossfires and spending the weekend together driving the scenic roads in the mountains in smaller groups and enjoying the accommodations at the Fontana Lodge.

If you have the days to use consider joining us for the fun.
See the thread link below and view post #1 & 2 for all the info you need and also many photos from our past events.
Feel free to contact me via PM (private message) here if you have any questions as I have been to nearly all of these meets.

7th Annual Fall 2013 - Tail of the Dragon GTG - October 4, 5, 6

Again welcome, Gary

The Crossfire is a great touring auto. My wife and I have gone to the get together in St. Louis. We've also done a road trip to the Tail of the Dragon, and just recently to Banff Canada. The car drives great, and if you listen to "books on tape", you never get in arguments! Enjoy your retirement in the Crossfire!

Seems it usually falls in right around Easter weekend. Probably start seeing some tentative plans shortly after the Fall Dragon.

The Spring Dragon will be April 3-6, 2014.

But we'd SURE like to see more than 41 cars this fall! I KNOW we will pick up more, seems like the last-minute joiners each fall are around 10-20. That would put us near 60, which seems about right.

We usually only get about 30 in the Spring.

Thank you for the welcome! This is our second Crossfire and we really enjoy it. We have the books on CD and we travel that way, it makes the long straight road shorter.

Hope to meet you at a gathering.
