Ahhg Dupli color
Ahhg Dupli color
Just went to Crappy Tire in Canada to try to get the match for my "new" (to me) 2004 crossfire.
Cant find the paint code on the Car...Im not an idiot, but am a huge gear head. Gave up, and thought I could cross ref the black somhow knowing that the Cross probably only came in one shade of Black.
Chrysler lists two 04 blacks But duplicolor wont say which one they have is specific to the crossfire!
The one I purchased is Duplicolor Brilliant Black pearl AXR, PXR..........Can anyone pleeeeease tell me how to verify, and if this is the correct black for my Crossfire! Thank you sooo much!

Crossfire is ZH.
For some reason the paint code is not on the car, the Service Manual says its on the frame, but it is not.

From Paintscratch.com:
Color Color Description Color Code
Black Clearcoat 040/9040/P41/PXB
Sapphire Silver Metallic Clearcoat 368/5368/BS3
Blaze Red Cry. Metallic Clearcoat 591/3591/ARH
Classic Yellow Clearcoat 695/1695
Graphite Metallic Clearcoat 759/7759/ZDR
Aeroblue Metallic Clearcoat 959/5959
Alabaster 960/9960/P61
Note there are slightly different codes, one uses BS3, the other PS3. Both are 368. There are other slight differences amongst the codes for some of the other colors as well. BS3 and PS3 are "identical", even though neither will give an identical match to your SSB; the light color, and pearlescence will not be easily matched. For those with Black Crossfires, you might have a chance at a decent match. Keep in mind that a body shop doesn't open up a can of paint and start spraying; it is always mixed to match the individual car. For those with '04 Blaze Red Crossfires, and those with Inferno Red '05s don't worry, they're all the same color code (591, PRH).
