I just purchased a 2005 srt6 gray rodster with 43,000 miles. In Iowa I'll have to wait until spring to make much use of my crossfire. Nouthing big to work on. It just need a few minor items. One good thing about Iowa-- Once it starts to get cold, rodster prices fall.
A crossfire doesn't need many mods. You have good power, good drivability, and good looks all at a very reasonable price. Keep it in excellant shape and enjoy the ride.
My brother in law has a $50,000 plus 2008 Camero and a $60,000 plus 46 Chevy. Nice cars. I can out run the 46 and keep up with the Camero. A Crossfire is the same fun at a fraction of the cost.

I'm a real stock guy. I've had several rides both stock and modified. Like the preformance stock cars. That said I hope to have my SRT in very good shape in about a year. I've already had some interesting
comments. A guy noticed the car as I pulled into a parking lot. he said nice SRT. I wish they still manufactured them. Stopped at a Chrysler dealer to get a second key. A service teck directed me to his line. He said nice SRT rodster. Thats only the second SRT rodster he had seen.
It does get noticed

Welcome to the forum Tom and to SRT 6 ownership. You are correct in saying the SRT is a very fast car and can hold it's own with most cars it encounters in stock form. However with a few mods this car can become something really special and it's fun to see your car getting better and better.
