Question First post on Crossfire Forum

Hello. I have a 2004 2D Coupe. Recently, the key would not turn at all. Was able to fix this (with help from my father) at no cost. After putting everything back together, I turned on the lights and half of the speedo and tach are quite dim while the other half are lit how they should be. This is a minor problem, I know, but it has been bugging me! Is this a problem with a fuse or what? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

So, I am assuming the lights worked before you started the fix? What did you do to fix the key - the fix described in this forum?

Yes, RL67037 the lights worked fine on the dash prior to the fix and yes I used the fix described on the forum. To be more specific, from 0-100mph the illumination on the speedo is how it should be. From 110mph and on they are quite dim. From 1000rpms to 4000rpms the lights are faded yet bright on the rest of it. Sorry for the lil confusion on my last post. Yesterday was my first time using the forum.

I looked at the schematic, and if it is correct then all the bulbs to light the cluster are common to fuse 11 in the Lighting Control Module ( the headlight switch ). You can see these fuses inside the removable door on the left ( drivers ) side of the instrument panel.
HOWEVER, that would not explain why half the lights work, and half don't.
I'd suspect that maybe you jiggled the connector to the ICM loose a bit with the sticky key shenagins.
Check this connector and make sure it is properly seated.

see below schematic
