Default New Member & Passenger Seat

Hi. My name is Jack. I live in Phoenix and I just bought a 2006 roadster, with 25,000 miles. It's Blaze Red with a dark gray and vanilla interior. I love the car but my wife complains about the passenger seat. She says she sits too low. I haven't confirmed that yet as I haven't let anyone else drive the car so that I could test out the passenger seat. Has anyone ever converted it from a four position seat to a six position seat?

My wife is 5’ 2” and she thinks the seat is a little low. Maybe you could shim the rails a little for your wife.

Here is what you need to do for an 8 way seat conversion. Of course blocking the rails is quicker & less expensive.

Although it is not covered in the Service Manual you can actually test the passenger seat by sitting in it while the car is stationary. I have done it but maybe I should write a how to with pictures. LOL

I place a gel office seat cushion in mine when my wife rides.
