Art returned my call today and we spoke for awhile
I'm sure he will enjoy talking with others here who will take the time to call him
He is set to purchase a Crossfire and is gaining info from those of us in the community
His son lives within a mile from my home ironically
I may meet Art when he comes to visit his son

Thanks to those of you who have greeted us so quickly, warmly and so full of welcomed help.
We are interested in a Roadster in Red as our first choice, yellow in second place.
We are quite taken by your enthusiasm and attitude.
Best,
Art and Angela

I spoke with Art this evening for about twenty minutes. Nice guy.
He and his wife are looking for a red roadster. Second choice would be a yellow one.
My impression is that he got the bug and has it bad. They will fit right in.
But first, we need to get them into a Crossie.

I don’t know anything about this car but I saw this ad today.

I left a message on your phone, since I live (West Chester) within 10 miles or so of your home. I've found a 2007 RED Crossfire Roadster SE for you in Downingtown, PA. If you need any assistance in reviewing your desired Crossfire locally.
They are great cars.
Regards,
Dennis

He is following this thread, I spoke to him for 30+ minutes today. If everything goes as planned I will be meeting with him Tuesday or Wednesday, visiting with him and visiting at least one dealer in the area. Art lives about 6-8 miles from my location. I will do my best to help him make a decision based upon our discussion today and discussions in the future.
He is impressed with our Crossfire community....

To All
I met with Art this morning and discussed many aspects of owning a Crossfire. We visited the dealership that is selling a 2007 Red SE model with 25K miles, 3 owner car. We test drove the car and Art was impressed the Crossfire SE. There were a few issues that needed to be addressed; 1). The airbag recall that was not done, but parts ordered through a local Chrysler dealer; 2) Leaking valve covers; 3) Wheel rash on 2 wheels. The other issue is the lack of any scheduled maintenance between 2011 and 2018, as per the CarFax Report (2nd Owner), that could be an issue.
The top looked OK, with no rear window separation, top needs cleaned.
Naturally the dealer talked about the "numerous" interested parties, even one from Canada. I guess he would sell it to someone else, without doing any of the repairs!
Art will be doing a follow up with the dealer, by email today and he will follow up with me.

Dennis

Thanks to DennisTMenace. Met a dealer w/a 2007 SE today.
I am getting wonderful and sound buying advice through Dennis.
Will know soon if the dealer is able to accommodate some conditions.
Best,
ART

I spoke with Art concerning the Crossfire SE, giving him my review of the car in question, recommending to walk away from this car due to the lack of any scheduled maintenance from 2011 through 2018 by owner # 2 and owner #3. The car sat at a Chevrolet (Pittsburgh Area) dealer for 1 year without much activity. It was sent to auction, where the 3rd owner bought the car and used it sparingly before his death. The car looked good, since the paint was buffed, but there were telltale signs of neglect. This was my reason to walk away.
The car's faulty airbags were not addressed under the recall as of our visit, until I brought the issue up with the owner of the dealership, as well as the leaking valve covers. The search will go on until we find the "right" Crossfire for Art.

Again Dennis helps me with restoring the lenses on my new (for me) 2005 Roadster.
Angela and I are always thinking who we can go show it to.
A Porsche owner approached me a stroe parking lot to express his admiration
fro the car. Knew very little about them. Great to help him.
AGAIN thanks to all of you who helped with this purchase.
Best
Art and Angela.
