Hi all Crossfire fans, I am driving a 2004 metallic grey with red/brown interior version. It has 130.000 km on the counter. I am 1,90 m and just fit in this car. Also I am married and my wife likes to drive it as well.
We have two Mercedes cars as family and business car. So the crossfire is pure fun.
Regards Antonius62

Welcome,

You've joined thee source for all your concerns that might cone up on this car!

In addition, if you are on Facebook, there are a number of Crossfire Groups that support this car as well. A lot of advice on these FB groups refer back to this site. The old adage "don't try to reinvent the wheel" holds true. Someone here has experienced it and has posted up the fix.

These are great cars, just make sure you have a good, fully charged battery. These cars' modules don't like weak batteries.

Enjoy the ride and again welcome!

Regards,

What a beautiful place you live in. Welcome to the forum!

I just spent a few minutes on Wiki and Google Earth:

Cothen is a town in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of Wijk bij Duurstede, and lies about 10 km (6 mi) southeast of Houten.

In 2001, the town of Cothen had 2269 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.42 km2 (0 sq mi), and contained 890 residences.[1] Including both the village itself and the surrounding area, the statistical district of Cothen has about 2940 inhabitants.[2]

The skyline of Cothen is characterized by a church and a windmill called Oog In 't Zeil.

The windmill is getting (or has already been) renovated...
