Hey, All! New member/owner here! I picked up a 2004 Limited Coupe in silver with 45k summer only miles. SRT wheel set mounted, cover and stock wheel set included. All stock no mods. This car will continue its summer only life from April through October. . I have been reviewing the electronics tab and the lighting tabs for information on updating head unit and exterior lights for night driving.

I am a member of the Subaru Outback forum and expect the same knowledgeable, welcoming, helpful, fun community. I don’t consider myself handy by any means however, when the community posts well documented and clear instructions with photos and other members chime in with their findings or tips, then I feel like a shade tree mechanic! So BIG THANKS and shout out to all you mentors! We appreciate you!

I see you do meet ups and hope to get out and meet the men and women behind the screen name! They read like there a lot of fun!

If any one has suggestions for a Bluetooth head unit or upgraded direct replacement bulbs, PM me! I welcome your suggestions.

Likewise, if anyone in the Rockford, Illinois, Madison, Milw., WisKHAANsin triangle want to meet up for a Saturday coffee and cars, drop me a line, let’s meet up and shoot the breeze.

Be safe. Be well.

Hey, Valk!
Nice to meet you. I have not. I grew up and still have family just south of there in Byron, Oregon, Dixon. Route 2 makes for a good fall color tour and the Rock River is peppered with state parks to walk and photograph. Some have overlooks and one has Chief Blackhawk overlooking the river valley.

Wempleton like so many small farming communities make for a great backroad cruise.

We’ll catch up!

Thanks for the welcome!

Be safe. Be well.

The church that stands there in Wempletown was built on land donated by my dads great great grandfather
That is how the town was named with my family name
My dad is buried only a mile from this church in the Burrit Township cemetery also known as the
Wempletown cemetery
I drive up there a few time every summer from my house in Aurora
