New to fourm, just purchased a 2004 coupe. Always wanted a crossfire. Its red with black interior. 8600 original miles. Looks and runs like new.would like to paint the windshield trim same as the car, any thoughts?
FINALLY, someone uses the new member forum for what it is intended for. Thanks for that.
THOUGHTS:
Red exterior and black interior? HOW? There was no black interior in 2004. Kinda wonder what you have or what someone did.
Painting that trim the body color has become kinda common. I don't care for it, but many do. I will note that removal of that trim to paint it will mean that, once you put the trim back on, it will fly off on the interstate about the second time you drive the car - BEWARE!
Minnesota? That is unfortunate, it will be a LONG drive for you to attend the Dragon, Eureka Springs, Woodward, Carlisle or CAA.
And a question: "8600 original miles." Why do people say this? What miles are there OTHER than 'original miles'?
My 2004 Blaze red has a black interior. And I painted my trim body color and properly reinstalled it and it hasn't blown off in 40,000 miles with many on those on the highway.
Can you post a picture? What are you guys referring to as "black"? My SE is a "Base" and has the "Dark Slate Gray" interior. I guess it kinda looks black, but I dont call it that cause Chrysler called it "dark gray".
