Hello all,

I'm not a Crossfire owner but am hoping to find one. Specifically, the one with a car that has the reg 'V2 NOT'.

It's been off the road for just over a decade so not sure how active the owner might be on here....if they're a member at all.

If be interested in the plate, perhaps someone here knows where it is?

No picture I'm afraid but the MOT record says it's a blue car.

It’s the UK, you can buy and sell licence plates, the plates go with the car unless you put sell them to someone who wants that plate number.
He wants the plate not the car, it is a personalized plate.

Sorry, does this forum not include British owners? I assumed that it did.

I do indeed want to buy the number plate, not the car. In the UK you are not able to get details of a numberplate's owner from the vehicle licencing authority, hence asking in an owner's forum in the hope that the owner is here.

Well, we admit Canadians here, so we kinda gotta let ANYBODY in.

It's the same here, except plates don't transfer, a plate is really issued to an owner. I've had the same plate on three different cars in the past.

 

In the UK personalised plates can be resold. Some go for huge sums of money. Why is "V2 NOT" special? I don't know. V2 Records, V2 Cigs, V2 Rockets?

I searched V plates from one reseller.

 

I have a black 2005 six speed in great condition with 120,000 miles

 

I'd like that plate as I intend to get V1 GOT and V3 GOT, would like V2 GOT but it's on a Harley that's in use, so I thought I'd go for V2 NOT as I think it'll look fun when the cars are lined up on the drive.

 

Does it have the plate V2 NOT on it? If not then I think you've rather missed the point of my post 🙂
