Hi, just bought a 2005 crossfire U.K. RHD. Been sat for 7 years so project is an understatement! Too many faults to list but one odd one is the spoiler operation. The button on the dash does not operate it but when I took it for a spin to clean up the discs it went up & down as it should. When I got back the button still has no effect. While taking the wipers off & cover to clear the blocked drain holes (oh & the wheel liners/washer bottle to get at the other end which was solid) the spoiler went into the up position on its own. Still the button had no effect so after taking the opportunity to clear those blocked drain holes next to the spoiler I took it for another run & when I slowed down it went back to closed/down position. Anyone had any similar odd behaviour?
Thanks
Paul

Congratulations on your purchase! Since it has been sitting for seven years I would guess that you put a new battery in it but have to ask anyway. The spoiler will go up on its own when it detects a low battery charge. My wife and I bought a 2004 Limited coupe a year ago and since have seemed to encounter and repair every common issue with the Crossfire as well as a few not so common ones. This forum serves as a vast collection of knowledge and prior experience as well as a resource for help and advice from other Crossfire owners. Nothing has proven to daunting thus far but without The information found here and if we could not have found it elsewhere our Crossfire experience could have been a nightmare. With over 18 years of accumulated ownership history it is likely that any problem you will encounter has already been addressed and resolved by someone else so you just have to find it.
Thank you, that makes sense as 5 minutes after the spoiler went up the battery died. I had the fan on blowing out water that had made its way behind the dash but without the engine running before I fitted a new cabin filter.
Welcome. lots of info here.
