Default Wind noise

Hello to the folks who know a timeless design when they see it. The repair manual says a source of wind noise can be missing plugs in the door pillar. I can see daylight looking forward into the wheel well cavity. Also, the wind noise I have seems to come from both rear wheel wells. My Xfire has had extensive collision repair in the past that could have been less than thorough. Is there some kind of Styrofoam plug above the front wheel well and the top of the fender? Additionally, where are plastic plugs in the inner metal wheel wells in the rear?

You can add wind noise blowing past the mirrors. That happens with my roadster.
As far as checking what's missing from your car, I would put it on jack stands and remove the wheels and have a look at each wheel well for missing items.

The windows can be a source of wind noise and can be adjusted inward for a better seal against the weather stripping

On the front other than the splash shield I know of no plugs. You might want to remove the cowl under the windshield and check the area on the passenger side where the door for the A/C is located. The tank for the windshield washers sits behind the splash shield on the right side.

In the rear there is a plug on the forward side, down low near the rocker panel, in the wheel well. Also plugs under the car just aft of the axles. There are two baffles behind the black interior panels. They equalize the pressure inside the car to the exterior. Should be on both left and right. If you remove the small panel to access the light bulbs for the rear lights you can see the black plastic baffles in the coupes. I do not know about the convertibles.

A couple things came to mind: In the passenger footwell, where one's feet would be, pull back the carpet. First thing you should see is a large piece of styrofoam, behind that is the Transmisiion Control Module, the radio amplifier and a couple other mounted electric controls. You need to unscrew three plastic nuts. You should not see any light coming through. Above that area is the cabin air filter which you access through a plastic panel. Is the plastic panel there? If your car has cloth seats you have a "base"model and no cabin air filter. If your car has leather bolster on the seats or is the super charged SRT6 the cabin air filter should be there behind the plastic access.
