Parking and marker lights stay on when car is shut off.
The driver's side parking lights and marker lights stay on on my 2004 Chrysler Crossfire Limited 6 speed stick. I replaced the door lock vacuum pump (CLP/SSM) but that didn't help. Door locks and FOB work well but there isn't a sound when locking or unlocking. ??
turn the light switch to the center position to be OFF ... all the way to the right turns on the driver side parking lights,
positions are left side-right side-OFF-parking-headlights
and Welcome to the forum

As Dekalb said, make sure the light switch is straight up when the lights are off. In Europe they are required to leave one side of the parking lights on if you are parking on the street at night. If your passenger side wheels are near the curb, then the driver's side lights must be on. The opposite side if the driver's side wheels are against the curb.
As far as the car not making a sound when you lock it, the alarm siren has probably been removed to prevent battery drain.
Thank U. I'm embarrassed that I did not know that. I got the car recently. I had headlight switch in furthest left position which kept driver's side lights on. This is my first European car. Now that I have the driver's side rear inside hatch panel off because I thought there might have been an electrical short there, it's time to change the light bulbs !! Next time I'll look at the owner's manual or get on here before I do anything.
Most have replaced the alarm siren and the replacements do chirp with the locking and unlocking of the doors
True, but it should make a sound when you hit the panic button.

My car is also a 6 speed, it's a 2006 roadster. I've made a thread of "How To's" of all of the maintenance and repairs since I've owned my car. I update it every time I do something.
The links to the repairs are under the pictures on the first page. Some of these might be helpful. Here's the Link:
