Any XF members from NY into putting together a meet?

I've been wanting to set something up for a while. I attempted way back when, but not too many responses.
I'm in Rockland County, but I'm sure we can get something going.
Even if some NJ guys/gals want to join.

when and where? i'd have to take off of work if i decided to go.

 

you should head down to OBI on sunday mornings (12 miles east of Jones Beach on Ocean pkwy; Long Island) -- not just crossfires (hardly any to be honest) but hundreds of other cars show up to hang out and BS, etc -- make a presence with your XF. do a search for OBI or Captree and see who else might show up.

 

We can always do the traditional bear mt run, like the one I hosted last year!

I'm for meeting at the beach, I'll be there this Sunday NX how about you Crispy? Where on the Island are you located? I've seen NX's car at the beach but we've never met up. We should be able to get 5-6 cars there, then we can discuss grandeur things. I'll be there early, probably before 8 and stay an hour or so. Hopefully I'll see some of you there.

 

I'm going to try and make it, I'm heading there from S. Farmingdale.

 

I actually thought I saw your car in Farmingdale the other day when I saw your pic here on the forum. I have a business on Rte. 109 and saw a Black Coupe pulling out of a side street onto 109 at the King Kullen Shopping center, forget the name of the street. It was during the day maybe mid morning. Could it have been you? I'll look for you tomorrow.

 

I know this is an old thread, but what the heck. I have 300 miles on my base model and I'm in the Buffalo area - some nice roads here, Niagara Falls, Letchworth Park, etc. I plan to drive through the winter too - sold my A6 T2.7. Would be happy to meet other owners around here - let me know if any of you get up this way.

I'm in the Rochester are and also own a base coupe - mines a 2005. I've owned it about a year and love it! It would be fun to get a group of us together.
