I saw the one at antrim way not sure if they sold it or sent it to auction. The silver roadster was probably from fitz in chambersburg, I looked at it but was auto. For a few thousand more than used, I decided to buy a new one from NC.

Thumbs up Re: Pennsylvania XF owners here?

Hi I am the new guy from Central Pa. area. The Williamsport - State College area would be putting it right. I have a 2005 SRT Coupe. Black with Slate interior. Not my first color choice but thats all the dealer had left. Its a second car or collector show it off thing. When I figure out how to post a picture I will do so. My car has the SRT Badges on the front fenders, the rear hatch cover and lighted door sills. By the looks of what I see on this site I may finally be able to change the seat material, floor matts and lighting. I like the idea of having something no one else in my neighborhood has. I have never seen another SRT on the road in my travels. The longest trip has been to the AACA museum in Hershey. I plan on a trip to Florida in next few weeks though. My check engine light keeps comming on. Dealer said today I need to drive the car, I hope he is right. Happy Motoring

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you got some extras with your SRT. Those lighted sills are worth $400 alone. Of course, the badges aren't that expensive, but its nice to have them.

Keep an eye on that check engine light. I would take it to another service center and at least have them tell you what the code is and what it means. To tell you that you just need to drive it more sounds pretty irresponsible to me. I'd be looking for a new service department.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations, you should have some great roads for a nice Sunday drive over your way. You should have a wonderful time going to Fla, Crossfires are excellent traveling cars
For my 2 cents, I would have the engine light checked out again, might not hurt it, but there was a reason it came on

Talking Re: Pennsylvania XF owners here?

Just found this post. I live just outside of Hummelstown and own the only Red Crossfire Coupe
I've seen around here. There is a grayish Crossfire I see parked in the Verizon lot in Hershey
and occassionally I see the Black Crossfire owned by a British fella who lives somewhere near
here so we do have a few here in the Hummelstown/Hershey area.

Thanks for thr reply Tom2112 and RickZ. I am not sure yet how this site works for replying but it will come to me Iam sure. I am getting ready for this trip and hope to be on my way Fri. or Sat. The code that came up for my check engine light is #PO422, Cat Conv Efficiency. The srv. rep said I should have no trouble, the exhaust will probably clear out on a long trip. If you look at it like my SRT was built in late 2004. Shipped over winter 05 and sat on dealer lot till Feb. 07. The car had about 150 miles on it, Thats a lot of time for things to get a little rusty. Thats why I bought Chryslers SRT extended warranty. Well hope we can get togather at AACA Museum some time. The cars with fins are comming in May. I had a lot of those .

Keep an eye on the Car Shows section on the forum. The Mopar show at Carlisle is the second week of July, there is a Crossfire contingent that goes to it and it is a good time, you might want to try to make it, Hershey isn't very far away, Also check out the Midwest section for the Woodward Dream cruise in August we are heading up to that and you are more than welcome to join our "caravan of Crossfires" to pull into the Motor City. Have fun in Florida

Black base coupe just outside of Quakertown, PA. A neighbor down the street owns an almost identical car (I believe they bought it the same weekend too). Crazy.

Hi, I live near Mt Pleasant, which is about 40 miles SE of Pittsburgh.

I bought my 2005 SRT-6 Coupe (Silver Sapphire Blue) last August, at Thomas Chrysler in St Clairsville, OH. Mine only had 16 miles on it when I found it...considerably more after I took it for a really long test drive, lol.

Right now, I'm cursing that beady-eyed groundhog who cursed us with 6 more weeks of winter! I'm itching to take my car out for a ride so bad...I haven't drove it since November.

Damn! You're the one that bought my car! LOL! I wanted a silver one, but bought the black SRT-6 from the same dealer in St. Clairsville, a month after you did. It was well worth the drive.

Welcome aboard!

Seriously? Wow, what a small world! When I drove down to Thomas Chrysler, they had mine plus a graphite one that didn't have Nav. (Plus some regular Crossfires.) My original intention was to get the graphite one, because I didn't want the Nav option, and didn't want to pay an extra 1k for it. But when I got there, the two cars were sitting side by side, and I fell in love with the SSB color. Good thing my hubby wasn't with me at the time...he still doesn't realize I paid an extra 1k just to get the color I liked. Bad thing is, I still haven't bothered to figure out how to use the stupid Nav system yet, lol.

I read about the Dragon, sounds really cool. Unfortunately, all of my vacation time for the year is pretty much spoken for already.

Ha ha, that's a good point. Luckily, he only ventures to the forums relating to hunting, fishing, guns, etc.
