Crossfires of Maryland (COM)
not nice Pres.....let "e" drive the srt6
That is if you don't hit traffic around DC, besides your still a maybe, so when you make up your schedule I'll make up mine.
I would but we are only taking one car to Carlisle this year. The SRT6 will be at Carlisle, so the Fury gets to go to Moparpalooza. Gotta be fair, can't have the ladies complaining that I go places more with one than the other.
2005 Immaculate White Coupe with 82K looking for a good home at $12,200.00. Completely stock. Completely clean. Maryland Car. Full listing/pictures coming soon. Serious inquiries only.
Did you buy another car and decide to sell it ????
I know David and I will be at the car crusie guide meeting.
Looks like it is you, Chas, and Wyatt, to hold up the COM end, and I thought a new person that suggested the place.

It's Michaels car from eastern shore. I saw on facebook he was buying a used Audi TT convertible and will be selling his white coupe. Chase posted it for him as a preview.
So Jason isn't coming? I know he had something in the morning but thought he may still be coming to the Bethesda meeting.
I'm planning on going to the GTG. As long as I get everything done as planned I'll be there.
Guys, it appears numbers have dwindled down to just 2 or possibly 3 of us. Should we reschedule? I haven't seen any activity from the person who said to try tommy joes either , not even on facebook. Let me know.
Just my thoughts.
We agreed to do a GTG south if you live close I think you should go to see if new people that do not check the forum that often show up. If when you get there no one is there hang around for 15 minutes, then either have lunch of go home. I think COM should make the effort.
Just my thoughts.

His name is Tom, and mostly posts on the Crossfire Owners Page on FB. The understanding was the members wanted more social events and less car based events. I mentioned last year that I wasn't going to plan as many events, inorder to allow other people to step up, and most people don't like going to as many car shows as I do hahaha. Again it was me that had to plan events, and again there is grumbling and lack of interest, so I'm done. The idea of the monthly social was simple, attend if you can, if you have plans go to the next one. As far as February, I'm leaving it up to the board, if the board wants it canceled, then I'll cancel it, but if it's happening we need at least one member of the board to attend incase new people show.

Jason, no one is grumbling, I just don't want to go meet with myself. I can do that anytime and anywhere and if I'm going to go meet people I'd like to have some idea of who to look for / ask for, especially if no other COM members are going to be there that can identify them. Yes, people have things going on and and can't make every event and that's understandable. Yes, these are optional. I've opted to go as long as there is a reason to go. If people aren't communicating on here, or on facebook or some how so that coordination can occur, it makes it harder for those who are committed.
The last update I have is Tom, you, David E, and I will be at this GTG. If this isn't enough to make it worth attending we can cancel it. The idea of a monthly GTG at a bar or restaurant didnt bring the type of interest I had hoped, but people are volunteering their houses for monthly GTG, and that's fine. My plan is to be at this GTG, but if I'm late or can't get away in time and can't attend, we need someone there to represent the club, should new people arrive. David might not feel like attending after being at that all club meeting in the AM. So that might just leave you and Tom, if you don't want to show up for one person or have other plans you would rather attend, it's understandable, but we need to make the call now, to cancel and start planning March at David's house. All I'm trying to avoid is new people showing up, and none of our regulars are there. I wasn't trying to be an @ss or call anyone out in my last post, I just don't want to make plans for club events, and none of our regulars show, and we have a bunch of new people attend. Our events will be brought up by COM members, and not by me. I'll do what is needed to make the events happen, but my planned events are not as popular as others, and thats totally cool with me. I like that people are volunteering their houses for the GTGs. Just let me know what to do about the GTG this weekend.

I think Dave E. is just planning on the morning event and that's understandable. I knew you had a potential conflict and that's fine / understandable too. I am still happy to go and will go, but I haven't seen any activity from anyone else, including Tom, about attending. That was my only hesitation. I'm happy to go represent COM even if I'm the only one there from COM as long as I have some confidence that newbies, potential newbies and others will be there for me to meet with. I know none of this is in your control but given I've seen nothing on the Forum, our FB page or even the Crossfire Owner FB page about people interested in attending, I question whether it is happening at all. Curiously, if we were to cancel it, who would even know if it were canceled other than us. Anyway, I'll go, especially if you think Tom will be there. If you hear otherwise, let me know. Hope to meet some newbies.
