Paul, Tom, James, me, maybe David. That's enough to make it happen.

I'm out...i just got home from the breakfast gig a little while ago and I have stuff to do. If this would have been later I could muster it but right now I have things I gotta do and I would have to leave in 15 mins or so to get to Bethesda. So sorry, not making this one.

I offered up my place for the March meeting and I am still good with that, but I would like to suggest we start it at either 11am or 1 PM....whichever is best. If we meet at 11 everyone still has time to get other things done in the afternoon. I will provide coffee, other refreshments, lunch, etc for us. I'm also cool with it being sat or Sunday if that's better for everyone's this should be our planning meeting.

Guys were nice enough to let me in while they set up. Into my second beer and no one has shown yet. I'll stay until 4 and then take off. Have to say its pretty crappy the person who suggests the place is a no show.

Update: James made it at about 4pm, just before I was ready to walk out the door. Thanks for coming James. We had some food, some beers and chatted about a few things. Tossed a couple ideas around that we'll share with you guys later.

I'll reiterate my displeasure with the fact the guy who suggested the place was a no show. Never again for me. We pick it, we have at least a few of us committed to make it, because I jnow we can rely on each other, and I'll be there. Happy to meet new people if they are stand up people.

That sucks, agreed, scratch the idea of moving locations to get new people out. Thanks for hanging out, sorry it was just you two. We will have to rethink the monthly GTG idea. As of now the GTG at member's houses for march and April are still on.

You are opening your doors to us, so really it's your call. We can make suggestions, but really it's up to you.

We don't have to scratch the idea of going other places. The places need to be suggested (sponsored) by active club members. It was bad that only 2 of us showed; but it is what it is! We will just take steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. Face it......some people don't know what it takes to have a simple get together! Who would have thought that it was important to know what time the place opened?? Talking with Paul was great though. I will wait to see what happens next!

Sorry you guys were alone. I totally would have been there if this breakfast thing hadn't popped up at the last minute and someone needed to be there. Dave did a nice presentation about the show. Food was good. Location was Siberia.

So let's move on. The third Saturday is actually March 15th...if it is ok with you can we do March 22nd for the next gtg/ planning meeting and we can do it at 11 am like I said before. Bring who you want...hopefully we get someone new to come check out the club. Let's plan on trying to get the show plans and any other shows isolated. Dave and I grabbed fliers of some show options we can share. Didn't see anyone from the modern mopars club or ghost Ryder's that I noticed.

The 22nd is actually better for me anyway (I think). If new people show up, great. If not, no big deal. We need to go through our planning for our show, plans for other events including other shows and GTG's and new ideas. Also, state of our finances from the treasurer.

Thanks for offering to host. I'll offer my home up for a future one as well.

BTW, there is a cruise open to everyone that's interested on March 9th.
Here's the details. I am planning on going. You will need to let me know if anyone wants to come so I can inform the organizer.
Meet at Shady Grove (shopping center) at 9AM and then caravan to Whites Ferry. We will then take the Ferryover the Potomac to Virginia and have lunch at the Red Hot & Blue Restaurant located at 541 E Market St, Leesburg, VA 20176 (703) 669-4242 . (THIS RESTURANT OPENS AT 11:00AM AND HAS SAFE PARKING FOR OUR CARS, Lisa is our contact and I have reserved a private room for us)Please reply if you will be attending so we can get a head count for the restaurant.

Here is a link to the restaurant Red Hot & Blue - Barbeque, Burgers & Blues: Catering, Take-Out & Dine-In

And I would say he knew about the show and choose not to come..... But lets not put words in Chas's mouth, I'm sure he will see the post and have his own response.

You know being retired you tend to sleep in and not remember what day it is because they are all now weekends. Wow I can't wait until I can say that about myself.

But it's so much fun to speculate about what Chas might say.

Yeah, I get the feeling his retirement status is getting the best of him. Not knowing, better yet not caring what day it is would be a wonderful thing.
