Dave , I am willing to make a donation towards the food. Tell me what you need! Just don't exceed $10.00. (just kidding) I truly will kick in to ease the burden. Just let me know!

OK stakes for everyone... Just kidding looks like we will be doing Old bay Sausages and burgers on the grill. Gerrie and I will donate some appetisers, If it's a nice day and people would like to have a beer outside while eating, their is a liquor store 5 minutes away, We will have sodas and tea. Just the head count will be fine, if as a group we feel that I have spent too much of COM money for event we will take up a collection. This is supposed to be a fun GTG don't bring up money again, I'm not worried about it.
Looking forward to seeing everyone, and some new people.

there is a guy in aberdeen, who every year for his birthday has a car show. basically you show up with a mopar branded car and he feeds you. he is a gear head and wants his yard full of mopars for his birthday. he doesn't charge or anything, just has a small can sitting on the table for donations. Dave, you could do something like that if you want. just have jar or something sitting close to the food, so people can leave something letting you know how much they appreciate you opening your house to us.

oh and as soon as i get the date and time this year of the aberdeen thing, ill let everyone know. it's alot of fun actually.

The aberdeen thing sounds great I would love to attend especially since it is so close to me. The Jar sounds like a good idea, but again I don't want people to think they have to donate, Gerrie and I are happy to do it.

i think we will all be fine with the donation jar. what you do with it, is your call. put it in your pocket to cover costs, use it to help with the car show, donate it, your call.

if the people that show up put something in the jar great, if not that's fine. remember you don't have to donate inorder to take part in the get together

im not even sure what HID lights even are........Still new to the modern car upgrades. the crossfire is the first "cool" car ive owned from the current decade. It has been only cars from the 60's and 70's for me until i moved to maryland.

I may take you up on the headlight restoration. I didnt like the results of the kit i picked up last summer...........or maybe my drill sucked, either way my head lights need a little work. also ive got a light out that I cant seem to get to, so maybe with additional crossfire people around they can lend a hand in getting it changed.

I would not call myself a mechanic, but I do have just enough tools to get myself in trouble, everyone that comes up is welcome to do any work on their cars that they would like too, I will have a garage bay cleaned and ready to go.

James you know how I am with LEDS you might want to bring an extra set up. Your going down this year at Carlisle Chas!!!!

No need to bring any food, but if anyone feels the need to bring something you are more than welcome. Adult beverages will not be supplied, so if anyone would like a cold one while working on cars or talking at meeting I will have room in fridge/Ice/Coolers.

Which light is out? I will bring restoration stuff just in case. HID's are the lights you see that look ultra bright and can sometimes have a blue or purple look to them. They make a huge difference in looks. We can compare your lights with mine and you can judge for yourself. Don't worry.........we'll chip in and get that light changed; even if we have to disassemble the whole car!

A donation box/jar is a great idea. I suggest that the donations be use to reimburse Dave and Gerrie and the remainder be placed into our bank account for future events. Because there are no dues required it's incumbent on us to help ourselves. Trust me when I say, Dave and Gerrie are tremendous hosts. Neither will accept reimbursement but we're a larger number then they are so we can bully them into accepting it.

Dave and Gerrie are providing food and soft drinks. I'm bringing a case of beer. Feel free to bring beer, wine or other libations.

Jason you'll love them. I have them on my car and the difference is day and night. No pun intended. Just check out a BMW, Mercedes or Audi at night and you'll "see" what HIDs are all about. Hint: I'm getting a set of HIDs for my 1960 Dodge.

the light that is out, is one of the orange lamps in the front. the lights that come on before you turn on the headlights. the plug is wedged between the fender and the housing, the fill tank for the cooling system is over there. there just isnt alot of room there to get something in to remove the plug. maybe someone has a trick to get those bulbs out. so yeah at least we have something to do when we are not eating hahaha.
