cool, yeah bring what you have, ill see if it will make a solid mount on the engine. the needswings is a sweet intake. there will be crossfires with both the single and the dual intake. so you can see what one you like the best.

got a FB message from these guys.

Mercedes-Benz Repair Specialists | Silver Spring, MD | PULLIAM ENGINEERING

they are a Mercedes-Benz garage. i think its a private garage, not part of the brand, but the guy said he will be at the show sunday, and works on crossfires. another garage that knows our cars is a good thing

We will be meeting with six or seven classic cars and a couple chargers and challengers at the WaWa. also there will be people, that live on the eastern shore, just meeting us at the show. Jason and Kristin will be there set up as vendors

Hey, I might be in now for tomorrow. We didn't head down to see my son (wife is sick), so I am trying to work out coming now.

What's Chas up to? Haven't seen him on here in a while?

well sorry your wife is sick, but good that you can come with us.

Chas was at the show last weekend. His car has the issue with the key, should be back on the road soon.

Also let me know if you would like 1-2 pictures in full resolution (3648x2736 px) as I resized them on photobucket for quicker loading and the limit is 1MB per picture and each one is over 4MB. They look decent but the originals look amazing which would be good for wallpaper and other uses, they look great on both my 40" and especially my 55" Sony Bravia with no pixelation of any sort.

It was great to meet you as well and thanks, I still have to wax it up as the previous owner seemed to favor automatic car washes . You're more than welcome to post the pictures on facebook, could you let me know the link. Thanks!

car shows this weekend.

Jalopyrama #9

October 27, 2012
8 AM to 5 PM
Annapolis National Guard Armory
18 Willow Street
Annapolis, MD 21401

The Fury isnt old enough to get into this show, so you know the crossfires cant even get close to it. but if you're in the area and have nothing to do, there will be nice cars there.

..:: Maryland Int'l Raceway - Budds Creek, MD ::..

October 27, 2012
9 AM to 4 PM
27861 Budds Creek Road • Mechanicsville, MD 20659

alot like the Mason Dixon show. open to all mopars, mostly older cars. Show and race. Not planning on going to this show, but if enough people want to, I'll clean a car friday night.

the season is almost over, if you havent been out to a show in a while, this might be your last chance this year.

Hope everyone is fine after Sandy made her way through the area! I have taken the time to come up with a preliminary draft for our club mission statement. Please review and comment on suggestions to improve it so that we can have it "set in stone" before the end of the year. We should also have a written set of by-laws to use in helping to govern our organization.
I still move that we change the dash plaque from the show into a membership card. We just need to remove the car show info and put names on them. that would be a nice thing. Last but not least; the dues proposal has been agreed upon and we should be making ready to start collections starting January 1, 2013. $ 5.00 for current CICCI members and $10.00 for non CICCI members.

COM Mission Statement

To promote camaraderie amongst all Maryland Chrysler Crossfire owners, sharing ideas and solutions for the sport and hobby of being an automobile enthusiast; while supporting our local communities and charities in the hope for a better society.

I like what you have stated, I think we need to have a meeting with only board members to discuss member dues and other concerns I have. What say you Pres?
This may also be tuff considering the up coming holidays, but I'm willing if you all are.

I like the COM Mission Statement. I would suggest that we add something along these lines: "To promote camaraderie amongst all Maryland Chrysler Crossfire owners, develop a knowledge database for all Maryland Crossfire owners with technical and/or social information regarding the Chrysler Crossfire......"

I like Dave's suggestion for a meeting on all of this.

With regard to the Mission Statement, I think we should modify it to say ..............all Maryland AREA....Chrysler Crossfire owners ...................database for all Maryland AREA Crossfire owners......

My reason for this is we have interest and participation from PA, VA, DE and NJ owners on occassion so while we can focus on MD owner, let's allow for our other brothers and sisters to be included. Thoughts?

well we chose the name Crossfires of Maryland, not Crossfires of the Mid-Atlantic. We are focused on building the club in maryland, by going to Maryland events, contact with Maryland vendors and Dealerships/garages. I have nothing against people from the other states wanting to join the group, but our focus need to be in Maryland and so it needs to be stated that way. People need to know that we are a club that is very active in our state. we are open to all that want help and want to cruse with us, but we are a Maryland group. CICCI will help any regional group that asks for it. CICCI needs to be known as the active parent group, not us. just my thoughts.

Not suggesting changing our name or our focus, just a statement that fankly, could give a simple indication to ALL people that are interested in the AREA that we are open to participation. We live in a state that borders many states all within a relatively short distance. Reading the statement as current written makes it seem like it is "closed" off even though as you stated we are open to others joining the group. So, the statement as I've suggested only provides a simple indication showing openess to their interest and participation in our Maryland Club. It doesn't change that fact that we are focused in Maryland, do our work in Maryland and are building our club in Maryland with Maryland vendors and etc. If left as currently written, and I were from another close locality, my initial reaction would be OH, its only a club for Maryland owners. I'll reiterate, the change I've suggested doesn't change our charters focus.

Very valid point(s) and Jason's point is relevant as well. The Mission Statement does not alter COM's direction, it enhances it. We are Crossfire owners/supporters who happen to meet and greet in Maryland BUT our focus is the unity of all Crossfire owners period. I support the suggestion to edit the Mission Statement to reflect ALL area Crossfire owners are welcome to "join" COM because our neighboring States may not form local groups and those owners still need to know COM can be their home. COM will focus on all car events happening in Maryland BUT WE DO TRAVEL. Just my thoughts.
