JPC Dyno Shooutout
November 17th 2012
9am to 6pm

301 Serendipity Drive, Millersville, Maryland 21108

$50 gets you three pulls on the dyno. The winner of the event with the highest horsepower ride will get a plaque and a $100 gift certificate!

you dont have to dyno your car if you dont want to. This would be a good event for us to hang out at, before the weather gets bad. I may put a car on the dyno, not sure yet. there will be high HP cars there, some pretty neat stuff. and it gets our name out to a different crowd. This place is a great performance shop, they really know what they are doing, so if you need work done, or are thinking about getting some work done, feel free to talk to them.

Greetings Earthlings! I have a set of front tires for sale. I am offering tour group before I advertise them on a larger scale. These tires hace less than 500 miles on them. They are Nitto NT 555 235/40 ZR18. Make me an offer and come get them out of my garage! If your car has been lowered, they will be too tall. Great for everybody else!

On another note..........I am still working on our mission statement. Thanks for all the input. I see everyone's point but we must understand that our statement is internal and does not have to reflect all of our wants and desires! Our support of other drivers doesn't need to be written. Just like love and respect; it is better demonstrated! Let's move forward on this so that we can address the other hot items! (dues and membership cards) With all that being said.................come on spring time!!!

nice thoughts on the club's statement. I can contact Andrew about getting more ID cards made up. I think we should send out emails to everyone that was at the crab deck about the dues.

let me check, i may be interested in the tires. I need to change the oil soon, so its time to look at everything. Ive been lazy since i got the car, havent really looked at the tires and brakes, might need to do alot of work before winter.

I have an open garage bay if you want to be out of cold weather while doing maintenance, if you want to make the drive.

This is one of the hardest emails I ever had to write. Saturday I had to say good bye to my trusty and much loved 08 Crossfire Coupe. Necessity and mileage dictated a need to obtain a car that was more suitable for everyday work needs and weather conditions. I tried like crazy to be able to keep it and a new ride, but it just wasn't a do-able budget thing right now, so I have moved on to a 2011 Benz C300 4-Matic.

Walking away from my Crossfire was heart wrenching as it has given me 4.5 years of excellent service and thousands of hours of enjoyment as well as the opportunity to meet all of you and spend time doing Crossfire things. This was not easy....but if all goes well, I would hope to ba back in another Crossfire at some point in the future. I am still an enthusiast and if there is anything I can still do to help out with the club, do not be afraid to ask.

I have only one complaint - I wish this damn site would keep forwarding any new messages that are added to our forum to my email so I don't have to keep signing back on to find out what is going on - everyone else in the world can send me emails on my smart phone to sell crap - it would have been nice to have the same on here. I missed a couple recent things because of it - just had too many things going on.

Have fun guys and gals...I'll try to stay in the lop when I can. It has truly been a pleasure!
David

David, congrats on the new car, and sorry you had to get rid of the crossfire. you are always welcome at any of the club events and gatherings. car clubs are for making frinds and not about what ride you have. there is a red 2004 coupe at a car lot in PA. under 90k miles, good shape. RCM issue, so get a warantee. the price lowers every couple of weeks. I know the previous owner. just saying. hahahaha

if you go to your profile setting here on the forum you can turn on notifications. the only problem is, you will not get new ones about a thread until you log in. so if i post something you will get an email, but if someone else posts before you log in, you will not get a second notification.

JPC Dyno Shooutout
November 17th 2012
9am to 6pm
301 Serendipity Drive, Millersville, Maryland 21108

lets plan on getting there around 8:30, 8:45. this is a good chance to hang out before the weather gets bad and we are busy with the holidays. so far the weather is looking pretty good for saturday. sunny and in the 50s.

the dyno event is $50 and that gets you three pulls. you need to have good tires and at least a half tank of gas. if you have had some work done recently and want to know the HP gain or just want to know what a crossfire can do, now is your chance!!

you dont have to be in the event to enjoy the day. just show up and enjoy!

See you guys at 9:00 and I was going to put the car on the Dyno just for kicks and giggles, so sign me up.

David. Too bad you had to sell but don't let the fact that you no longer have one get in the way of participating in all our events. Once and owner, always an owner. Best of luck with the new ride. Stay in touch and log in regularly so you can see what's going on. We'll save you an honorary space along side our rides at the shows.

Paul
