This is open to all cars. Even if you dont want to take part in the show, come out enjoy some good food with friends before the snow gets here.

$10 for the show
$7 a person for the breakfast.

we have gone to this several times in a row. we usually take the Plymouth, and this is the last outing for a few months for the car. we can start making plans for 2013 as we have breakfast.
X-mas/Rum Tasting party the night before, I can pretty much garuntee I will not be getting up early to drive an hour for breakfast, I'll stay up at the North Pole for this one. Thank god we are only playing The Redskins on Sunday and it's an away game, I will only have to move from bed to couch by noon.

Wow, a showing of weakness in the armor. You're gettin old...........

As far as the game, while I'm a huge fan of both the Ravens and the Redskins, given the way the Ravens have been playing ........and the Redskins, this could be interesting. Big win last night for our home team but gosh..........we need to get a better flow of offensive coordination. If it's our execution, that's one issue. However, I think it's the play calling myself. Let us hop we can keep winning if we keep the same game scheme................... OR, let's change it up a little and get some offensive production outside of the sheer guts Rice and a few others are having to show in spite of the anemic plan.......

just let me know who all wants to go to the show/breakfast. we need to get there at the same time so we can get a table. 90% of the people that go to this are for the food, the car show is an after thought.

Chaz...just saw this post and wanted to know more information about "Fred at Tate". First, who is Fred exactly? Apparently, you believe he knows our cars well and is the man to see about things - who's cars has he worked on and what has he done? I know the Tate name but which dealership are you specifically referring to with regards to "Fred".

No big issues at present, but its always good to know trusted sources for repair.

...and while I'm here, I might as well get this posted before I forget, A very happy holidays to the COM community and a very happy New Year to you all . It was a very good time to be involved with COM and I really look forward to more fun next year.

Cheers!

His full name is Fred Meganhardtt. He's a certified Crossfire Technician and he's a former dirt/asphalt racer. He's a great guy and honest person to boot. He's serviced and or advised on at least 300 Crossfires from the Mid-Atlantic region. He attended the NCCAR event last year and assisted in setting up, tuning, repairing and driving our Crossfires. He's truly a go-to guy for our vehicle and he's fair. He's offered to assist any Crossfire owner and had even made his home garage available to all of us. He has worked on my car, Wyatt's car, Dave B's car, James' car and several other COM/CICCI/Forum members' cars. He's the real deal and Tate offers all CICCI/COM members a discount. Hope that helps.

we need to have a meeting, phone conference, instant message session, something between now and the middle of January. we need to discuss our plans for 2013, such as, dues, monthly emails to members, our event, events we will attend….etc.

also I will be starting a new thread here “Crossfires of Maryland 2013” starting in January please use that thread. I will have this one locked so it can be used as reference only.

Dave cant make it to the show on the 9th, so we cant have an "official" meeting then. we can discuss things, but all board members need to be involved before we can move forward.

i'll say Jan12th. far enough away from new years, no college football, and we can meet early in the day and be back home intime for NFL games.

Pencil in the 12th then.

Let's target breakfast type meeting again. How about somewhere in Ellicott City (a couple diners there) or Burtonsville again. Say 8:30 at the restaurant..........what ever we pick.

Spoke with the CICCI Board of Directors this morning regarding COM inquiries:

---- Regional Club donation will be remitted by the Treasurer to Dave Bender within the next few days per Dan and Ray.

---- DMR Signs will remit an invoice for the car show items within the next week per Andrew.

---- An estimate for membership cars is $1.00 - $1.50 each. Spoke to Andrew about an invoice for 50 - 75 cards numbered 001 - 075 based on dash card.

Hey Mr. President, I would suggest not "locking" the thread or starting a new 2013 COM thread because it's easier to follow with just one COM thread period. In addition, if locked or used as an archive, it can be deleted by the forum owners for lack of usage, outdated data, etc. when they purge for additional space. Just my opinion (and experience). Once purged by the site owners we will not be able to ever retrieve.
