Shot both of them a note on each thread. The one in Westminster is only about 40 minutes north and an easy drive from Mt. Airy Winery (20 minutes).

nice job everyone.

Dave and I went to that car club breakfast and let everyone know about our show. There seemed to be good interest about it. I only printed out 20 flyers, and they were all gone within 20 minutes, and several people stopped me to confirm the date and things like that. We got some flyers for shows put on by big clubs. we need to hit them and in force this year. We will discuss things more, but shows being held by the Ghost Ryderz and Street Survivers, we need to be there with at least 5 cars. If they are not opened to our cars, we need to park close, so they see us, talk to the club members, we need to start getting the word out.

I will NOT be able to make it to the DC modern mopar brunch tomorrow. if you guys go, let me know any updates about Moparpalooza, and try to take a couple of our flyers.

Got some goodies from Holley Carb for our car show.

THE PRESIDENT HAS SPOKEN

Anyone know why CICCI and COM logos aren't displayed at the chryslerownersgroup.com site?

$100 a year to join, and the COG's logo has to be on everything we do.

Not to mention that the COG site doesn't look like it's been updated in a while.

COG's website activity has not been up to date since the end of 2010 due to their webmaster's illness. Since his (**** Lang) passing last year, no one has stepped up to fill the void. COG is in dire need of more member support and they're not getting it. The Crossfire community saved COG back in 2008 by attending their meets/shows and promoting their events. COG has good car people involved. They just need direction and a youthful injection to get back to their original form.

So disappointed! Thought I found the right Crossfire in black Saturday, but since it was such a rainy ugly day I put a deposit on it and said I would be back today to check it out more closely when it wasn't all wet and dirty. So glad I did. Bumpers obviously repainted but didn't do a great job. Then as we looked closer realized a fender had also had body work...could even see the sanding marks in paint. Decided to walk away....not happy but glad I saw this all before signing on the dotted line. And he carfax was clean...so much for that.
The search continues!

Stelmos:

What are you looking for in a xfire. Do you want a roadstar or coupe. I have an excellent 2007 aero blue one that i will be selling and it has 30,000 miles. It is a coupe however

Hi, I had an aero blue 2008. Now I'm looking for 2004-2006 Coupe in black on grey or black, or white on grey or black, automatic, clean and maintained, under 12k. Not crazy about the red/grey interiors, would consider the manual if the car and price was right. Not looking for mods...I'm a purist on the all original car.

Sorry, David, that sucks. well you will find one. we know they are out there. Hey, there is still a red coupe in PA for sale.......i personally know the last owner, might even still have COM stickers on it. there could still be the issue of the phantom secondary air pump code though hahahaha. really though, I'll look some too for you, see if there is anything close.

Thanks guys. I know I'll find one. I'm just not a very patient guy when I want something.....but I'm still checking out all the ads waiting for the right one.

Too bad about the car but keep looking. A few months back I found a black 04 with under 10K on it. It was in northern MD. I'm assuming that one is gone.

If I were you I wouldn't constrain my search for one with just low mileage. I would look for a good one with up to 30K on it. Ones that old that sit may have issues. I bought mine 2.5 years ago with just under 6K on it (it now has 25K but most of that was put on the first year). I think you'll find a good one with moderate miles a lot more readily, especially if you are impatient.

How much are you looking to spend? Are you OK with the 2 tone gray / slate interior? How far do you want to travel? Here's one that looks pretty nice, but needs tires. Likely able to deal on this.
