Show flyer. no crossfire only class, just pick the one that is closest to what you have.

Thanks.

The flyers are really looking great. At first glance I think I like the second one.

Seems like we'll be ready to launch by next week!!!!

Hey, one more thing. We should note that each registration comes with a free wine tasting at the winery. Pick up your arm bands on site for use in the tasting room. Something like that.....................

will the registration cover the car, or just one armband? Also i assume spectators will be allowed to the show for free, but the wine tasting would require a $5 donation?

Just the car (1 per vehicle registered). Spectators are free -- with hopes they do wine tasting and buy wine (they have some good ones and some unique ones). Others would need to pay for wine tasting if they wanted to do a tasting ($Cost - 5$ per person). It's fun and worth it.

How about $15.00 Donation for Showfield (includes free wine tasting).
Spectators - free entry and $5 for wine tasting

How about. - Registration includes 1 complementary wine tasting courtesy of Linganore Wine Cellars. All proceeds go to Showfield. Then use your second sentence.

It was pointed out earlier to use the word donation so to be clear we aren't making the money ourself - maybe that was overstated? The profits are going to the Sheltie group - we don't want to forget them too....and all proceeds don't really go to showfield does it? Its all going to the rescue I thought or did I miss something? I'm playing devil's advocate here to make sure we word it so everyone is clear who gets what and proper credit.

How about: Your $15 Registration includes a complimentary wine tasting courtesy of Linganore Wine Cellars with all proceeds going to the North Chesapeake Sheltie Rescue. Spectators - free entry and $5 for wine tasting.

Phew - does that get everyone? LOL

Sounds good. I misunderstood your reference to "Showfield" as being a reference to the rescue.

when you register for Mason Dixon let everyone know what class you will be in. we dont want to load up in one class. if we can put atleast one crossfire in every class we can be in, that would be great. Oh and there is usually a Viper at Mason Dixon.............so we will put at least one of our heavy hitters against it.

I'm registered in Import/rebadged Chrysler.

I also printed out our show's flyer, it looks really good in both color and black and white. I'll make sure David gets the feedback.
OK so who has registered and which category did you register under?
(Suggested Listings)

Chisler29 -------- Imported/Re-Badged Chrysler -- confirmed
SRT6-Xfire ------- Ltd Production -- confirmed
Jediracer --------- Covertible
ichon ------------ Special Interest Chryslers -- confirmed

IMPORTANT !!!!!!

I hate to do this but is the date final at 8/25/12, The head of the rescue called me last night to remind me of another event on the 25th, and she stated the 18th would be better. I know I mentioned a previous event on the 18th, which I found out last night can be moved. So if the date can be moved to the 18th that would be best if not, the rescue would just have fewer people and dogs at the event. Please everyone except my apology for speaking prior to talking to head of rescue. I know I have the worst luck in picking a date and staying with it.
Dave

Dave, sorry but I confirmed the date with the winery yesterday. Also, I think others in the club were better suited for the 18th as well, including me. I think we'll just have to live with fewer people and dogs at this point. Seldom do all the stars align perfectly anyway.......... so we'll make the best of it with the current plans. No worries.

Nice!!

Even though we are in seperate classes we should still be pretty close together. The show area is the big grass field next to the drag strip. the Historic iron is usually closer to the gate, and the Modern cars have been up the hill, closer to the start of the track. and by hill its just a light rise, nothing to worry about. I'll bring a pop up canopy and once we figure out where we are, we can set up camp. Also remember to walk down the hill and check out my Plymouth, I should have the new interior in it for this show. Oh and usually good vendors are at this show.
