The artwork a the top of the flyer would make for a sweet dash plaque!!

Got this email from Justin's performance center about a car show

Hey Jason!

Well me and Justin had a meeting this morning about this. Were both interested in working with you guys to host a show this summer. Were not looking for any kind of venue fee as far as you guys using the lot. Id say you can fit around 30-40 cars in the front lot and probably about the same in the rear lot which you guys will have access to aswell. As far as the dyno is concerned this is how we normally work it.

Opening up the dyno requires us to power up the shop and pay for the 2 guys to work the dyno all day. So we normally charge $500 to open it up for the day. BUT we reduce that $50 for every car you dyno so if we dyno 10 cars its free for the day.

We charge $50 for 3 pulls and $80 for 3 pulls with Air to Fuel monitoring.

If you’ve got any questions just give me a shout.

Aaron

Hey GUys, if you decide you want to use the pic and script from the flier just let me know where to send it. I will have to email it through yousendit.com since the file is so big (if you need the actual working doc). If you can use the pdf, thats not a problem....as I said just tell me where to send it.

I made the corrections, changes and additions today for what we have so far in data - we still have some things that have to go in when I get that info...like a firm show price and location.

I also gave Jason 3 versions - moved things around in 3 various looks so he could see what he thought....used same content and picture at top.

when you register for Mason Dixon let everyone know what class you will be in. we dont want to load up in one class. if we can put atleast one crossfire in every class we can be in, that would be great. Oh and there is usually a Viper at Mason Dixon.............so we will put at least one of our heavy hitters against it.

I'm registered in Import/rebadged Chrysler.

I also printed out our show's flyer, it looks really good in both color and black and white. I'll make sure David gets the feedback.
I have also preregistered I'm in the Limited production class, so James could have the convertible class..

IMPORTANT!!!

Ok, we can use the winery property!!!!! However, the 11th doesn't work. They already have a benefit on that date. HOWEVER -- August 18th and the 25th are OPEN. CAN WE ALL COMMIT TO ONE OF THESE DATES?

The have also offered a free wine tasting as part of registration. Wine tasting is $5 ---- which they have agreed to just let us keep the proceeds for the Shelty Rescue (We can give them a charitable receipt). We can just set up reg, promote the free wine tasting with registration and give registrants and arm band which they would show for the tasting!!!!!

We can use some of their tables and chairs as well. They will also market this for us on their website. More details later. I'd like to grab a date if we can agree on it. Please, let me know ASAP.

The Sheltie rescue already has a commitment on the 18th, but the 25th is wide open, we usually don't due 2 events on the same day becuase it is hard to supply enough dogs & help for both events, so if everyone is agreeable the 25th sounds like the best date. Do I have a second from the president?

I also wanted to say that the rescue is very honored and excited to be choosen by COM for their very first car show.

Let's get the poll done ASAP so I can call back with our date selection. The 25th is best for me as well.

Paul, have you scoped out a suitable "plot" location at the winery for 50 vehicles?
