I went and got the oil and filter from Advanced Auto but I am confused and do not know if the Mobile 1 filter I purchased is a fleece filter or paper filter. Does anyone know?
what weight of oil?
Did you get the 0 - 40?
When I go to Advanced for this deal, they usually let me trade out the mobile filter for the KN filter or Bosch which are both fleece.
Paul.......you are just such a loveable guy! In regards to the Mobil 1 filter; it is paper but will work as well! I did a lot of research on the forum regarding using paper vs. fleece and everyone agrees that the paper is fine but some just prefer the "security" of using a fleece filter.

Less than 3 weeks to our COM meeting. We should update / restart our list of who's attending and update or draft agenda. Also, Dave, do you want us to bring "food / side items?" or just contribute some $ to support the function? Let us know.
If anybody that comes would like to pay their membership dues we can do that.
If someone is making an agenda, I will read the state of COM's finances.
Jason and I had started an agenda a while back. I'll resurrect that and get it around to Jason and the rest of the board so we can fialize it. We definiately will want a read out of the state of COMs finances.
with the FB people and people here we have 10 for sure and 2 "maybe". i know a couple people are bringing guests, so we need enough food for 15 people. Dave Chas and I talked about just having enough to take care of the confirmed. We have two forums and the FB event everyone has a chance to RSVP. This will be more meeting and less hang out. People that attend should be COM members, future COM members, and people who want to help with the show.
Since Dave is allowing us to use his house for this, and giving up his family's time COM will help with the purchase of food/drink/snacks. COM will allow Dave to withdraw $40-$50 from the account to help offset the cost of this meeting. attendees are encouraged to leave money in a collection box that will be used to further offset the Bender's expenses or be used to replace COM's account.
If attendees have not yet done so, they are encouraged to join COM and/or CICCI as well as register for the August car show. Cash payments are encouraged for these, perferably in 5 dollar bills. We will need alot of them for our show, the more we have now, the less we will have to get in August.

Maryland Bill to Create Special Vintage Reproduction License Plates
Legislation (H.B. 977) to require the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) to provide, for one year, a specially designed vintage reproduction registration plate to qualifying vehicle owners is moving through the legislative process in Maryland. Under the bill, to be eligible to receive a vintage reproduction registration plate, the vehicle must be a Class A (passenger), Class E (small truck), Class L (historic), Class M (multipurpose), or Class N (street rod) vehicle. The vintage reproduction plate would be designed to resemble the 1910 Maryland registration plate, which has black lettering on a yellow background. The bill requires MVA to set initial registration and renewal fees. The bill will soon be considered by the entire House of Delegates. We Urge You to Contact All Members of the Maryland House of Delegates (Contact Info Below) Immediately to Request Support for H.B. 977
- H.B. 977 would bring a retro look to modern license plates by allowing consumers to use the reproduction 1910 plates.
- H.B. 977 would give consumers a new option on the license plates to use on their vehicles and provide historic car owners a voluntary means to acquire new plates that match the vintage look of their vehicles.
- H.B. 977 estimates that the additional cost to obtain the plates would be $20 and would take effect January 1, 2014.
Please e-mail a copy of your letter to Steve McDonald at stevem@sema.org. Also, please forward this Alert to your fellow car enthusiasts. Urge them to join the SAN and help defend the hobby! Thank you for your assistance.

I thought you could already get the tags, if they were in good shape, the correct year, and you registered the number with the MVA.....what does this law change? is it just new tags with the old colors?
