About time for new tires. After much research and debate, the likely winner is...........drum roll...........Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Great reviews and even better because of the slightly lower price than replacing my current PS2's with new PS2's. I looked closedly at the Hankooks, Goodyears, Etc. Etc. Etc and while the Hankooks got good reviews and are definately cheaper, I've been really pleased with my PS2's and the ratings on the super sports for handling and in all other categories were great by the reviewers. Need to pull the trigger soon to get the rebate so I may buy them and hold off putting them on until just before Carlisle...............

This sunday June 16th is the Ghost Ryderz show. I spoke to members of the Ghost Ryderz yesterday at another show, and they are excited for our show in August. they liked the location, the way it was managed for a new show and the charity. so we need to try to be at their show in force this weekend. I understand that its father's day, so if you cant stay i understand, but at least show up, register with COM and if you can get in a picture so i can post it to their facebook page. Ghost Ryderz showed up with around 40 or more cars last year. so we need them back this year. I will look into meeting up prior to the show, the spot we used last year to meet up was great, and i think we will use it again. let me know here, email, or facebook if you can attend with a car, or just show up to register so i can give them a count of the number of cars we are bringing.
I am going to try and be there. This was a really rough week at work and I am spent. If I can get my things done tomorrow ill see you all Sunday am

Paul, I missed this message. Did you get a room yet? I have one and yes you can share it. I think it's 2queen beds but I can call hotel and make sure that's what we get.

Hey. Welcome. Where in Virginia are you located? I'm in the DC area. Actually, I live about 15 minutes south of Mt. Airy.

Our COM show is August 10 at the Linagnore Winery. Great venue, lots of fun and hopefully we'll have another great turnout this year (over 100 cars last year). I've attached our flyer which will provide you with the details. Feel free to check in on here regularly or PM me if you have questions.

Also, check out our other thread ..

New tires are now on the car. About $1300 dollars later..........but it was definately time. I did go with the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. It's amazing what new tires will do for the feel and sound of a car. They have a 500 mile break in period so I won't be testing them out too strongly just yet. The trip to Carlisle will likely complete my breakin period.

Crossfires of Maryland will be hosting a cook-out Friday July 12th at the hotel outside of Carlisle. CICCI and the NY/NJ group will help with beer, soda, snacks and additional food. COM will be supplying the meats. We discussed getting hot dogs, sausages and burgers. The COM board members will all be chipping in with cash or supplies for this, and this will be a lot more fun and much cheaper then going out to eat. so COM board members, please pick up hogs, burgers and sausages when you see them on sale. there are 45 crossfire people that have RSVP, but about 30 actually registered and maybe 25 staying at the hotel. Don't go crazy on this. and with the 4th around the corner these things will be onsale. All are welcomed to attend. COM members not on the board are encouraged to pick up items for this event to help out. Non-board members can be reimbursed if requested up to $15 by giving David Bender your receipt no later than Saturday July 13th. with 8 of us spending $15 we can feed an army with cook out food. Please let me know your thoughts on this and let me know what you plan on bringing. If you want to make something, salads, cookies, moonshine, let me know.

THE PRESIDENT HAS SPOKEN!!

I got this from Adam with SRT.

Adam Barrera
I'm building a new directory of independent SRT clubs. Can you send over your most updated club logo, along with the full name of the club and your preferred URL?

I was thinking maybe David, or anyone that is good with editing photos take the COM logo and remove the member 2011, or replace it with founded 2011, CICCI regional group 2011, something like that so the COM board can approve it and I can send it to Adam. Also as far as the URL I was going to send a link to this since most people post here. any other thoughts?
