Crossfires of Maryland will be hosting a cook-out Friday July 12th at the hotel outside of Carlisle. CICCI and the NY/NJ group will help with beer, soda, snacks and additional food. COM will be supplying the meats. We discussed getting hot dogs, sausages and burgers. The COM board members will all be chipping in with cash or supplies for this, and this will be a lot more fun and much cheaper then going out to eat. so COM board members, please pick up hogs, burgers and sausages when you see them on sale. there are 45 crossfire people that have RSVP, but about 30 actually registered and maybe 25 staying at the hotel. Don't go crazy on this. and with the 4th around the corner these things will be onsale. All are welcomed to attend. COM members not on the board are encouraged to pick up items for this event to help out. Non-board members can be reimbursed if requested up to $15 by giving David Bender your receipt no later than Saturday July 13th. with 8 of us spending $15 we can feed an army with cook out food. Please let me know your thoughts on this and let me know what you plan on bringing. If you want to make something, salads, cookies, moonshine, let me know.

I'm building a new directory of independent SRT clubs. Can you send over your most updated club logo, along with the full name of the club and your preferred URL?
I was thinking maybe David, or anyone that is good with editing photos take the COM logo and remove the member 2011, or replace it with founded 2011, CICCI regional group 2011, something like that so the COM board can approve it and I can send it to Adam. Also as far as the URL I was going to send a link to this since most people post here. any other thoughts?

this is what I have so far.
Dave---old bay sausages, peppers
Paul----Italian sausages
Jason---Sausages, Nathan's dogs
Chas---bread/buns
David-----chips or salad
Wyatt-----potato and macaroni salad, plates, spoon, forks.
Paul how many sausages are you bringing? I did a count and it looks like 24 CICCI members at the hotel. dave has 15 sausages. I can change mine to something else. maybe i'll just get a bunch of Nathan's dogs.

ill be digging though parts on Friday about the time most of you will be waking up hahaha. but i should be back to the hotel around 3 or 4. those of us at the show on friday that are going to the cook out make sure you have my number we can meet at the cars at 2 or 3 and get ready to drive back to the hotel.

we need new COM member and car pictures for the facebook page and to send to SRT. we can do that saturday morning before it gets too hot and the show field gets too full.

What's the deal with people cruising up to Carlisle? i'm going up Friday. I can go pretty much anytime. If other's are just heading up on their own, I'll just see everyone up therie. I may try to get to the show field and head back tot the hotel when everyone else does. It'd be good to know everyones ETA and plans so we can coordinate.

I usually shoot out 70 and take 15 north from Frederick right up to the hotel...so Paul, I can cruise up with you...I was thinking about leaving around 10-11 and going to hotel, but I am flexible.What time were you thinking of heading up? I would think you would go the same way I go...
If this doesn't work I might follow Chas up later in the day..depending on his route.

7. Slight right onto I-83 N (signs for Timonium/York Pa) Entering Pa 62.2 mi
8. Take exit 39B for Pa TurnPike/I-76 toward Pittsburgh/Philadelphia 0.4 mi
9. Take exit 236-2 on the left to merge onto I-76 W/Pennsylvania Turnpike
10. Take exit 236 toward U.S. 15 N/Harrisburg Partial toll road 0.6 mi
11. Turn right toward Ritter Rd 171 ft
12. Turn left onto Ritter Rd
This is my usual route dave. I have never done the Rte 70 to Rte 15 run. Looks like it's olny and 8 minute difference. It'd be nice if all of us could drive up together. Hey Wyatt, James, Paul....can you guys leave earlier than 2pm?

Make sure everyone brings their COM shirts for Cookout on Friday in PA. I detailed car over weekend so I will be leaving Friday about 10:00 A.M. going up 83, if anyone is interested.

Dave I know it's out of your way to take 70. Seems like Chas, James, Wyatt, David and I are taking 70 to 15 and then to the hotel. Maybe stopping for lunch at the Shamrock inn. We'll meet up with you at the hotel.
