I cant make the december GTG. Family is coming out from Ohio to visit. While you are being social, we need to plan our monthly GTGs for 2014. It needs to be something that can be used every month, centrally located. Here is my idea.

Last sunday of every month, at 10AM.

Possible locations..... Seibel's Burtonsville, The Cozy Thurmont, Mountain Gate Family Restaurant Thurmont

I have a conflict on the 7t so I'll have to bow out.

Have fun.

Not likely to make this weekend either. Family stuff too. Moving Alex back from Dorm and getting ready to move him to a Townhome in Lynchburg.

As far as our monthly GTGs, either of those places are fine with me. Also, I'll throw out a couple for consideration too. The Shamrock in (bar side) in Thurmont (since the other location in Thurmont was an option too. Also, a place in Sykesville called E.W. Pecks Pub.

All the locations so far are great. Make sure the GTG this week is very social and relaxed, but have the issue of our monthly GTG taken care of before you leave. if you have a couple locations you can always send them to the board to decide. It will be a location that we will use every month so people remember it. We need to have it decided so we can contact the location and get it set up. we need to let them know that every month we could arrive with 2 or 20 people.

Ok, just so I'm clear. You won't be there, Paul won't be there, I doubt James will be there, Dave (senna) can't be there....that leaves myself, Dave Bender and Chas and Michael, and maybe Wyatt, (unless someone else chimes in) and you want us to pick a monthly meeting place from the choices you listed....Has there been any updates on Facebook about this Saturday gtg? I haven't seen anything.

I posted the info on the club's FB page about this event. Nothing has changed. I gave the time, date, location.

Those meeting places are just suggestions of places I can think of, off the top of my head. Like I mentioned earlier, i'll be planning less events, and with the members wanting more social and less car related gatherings, I'm leaving it up to the members to decide. If we have a monthly social spot great, but if not, then we don't. There is always the march GTG.

Sorry guys Gerrie and I will not make this Saturday GTG. I have a family obligation that I can't get out of.
Enjoy the rum bar.

I suggest we forgo the December GTG because of the holiday season and other commitments. We can start fresh next year and GTG when more members can attend. Thanks Mike for your handling of this but I think the holiday functions are too steep for numerous members for us to have a great GTG this weekend.

Maybe Santa will bring me a text package, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm pretty sure I'm getting a Catch can for X-mas
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All.

Where do the majority of Crossfire owners go for mechanical repairs and maintenance? I'm a new owner and looking for recommendations. Thanks, guys.

Hi MyBabySaphSilBlue, welcome to the group. I personally do most of the work on my car, and I get the parts I need fron Needswings, Rockauto, Advance, Napa, Chrysler Dealers. If its something I cant do, or don't want to, the car goes to Tate Chrysler in Glen Burnie.
