I'd rather not get into all of that here on he forum.

Just so you know, I think who we are, what we've done over a short period of time has been great. I'm proud to be a part of COM and very happy our cars have brought me new friends. One thing my friend said to me which I think is appropriate and thoughtful is...........the uniqueness of your club and the intimacy of a smaller group and universe of cars is actually a really good thing........

I think it's very true in our case. I'm not sure exactly what we are trying to fix, but I think a better thing for us to do is to identify what our goals our, what our limitation and / or opportunities are in light of those goals and that will help us align our approach to get there along with our expections.

The Vice President has spoken.......
This is not an original idea it's borrowed from a group in Colorado. Twice a year early spring late fall they have a get together with a barbecue and other things but they do maintenance on each others cars helping one another I think that would be a great idea especially for folks like me who bought a car that I'm still trying to understand! i live in VA so a lot of the events are a real long haul for me, I would have come to some of the events but had family issues that came up that I just could not get out of. The sitdown discussion sounds like a great idea! I love how active your group is I would like to be a part of yours or maybe one day hopefully one in Virginia. I think I could learn a lot from your group While Having a great time. I have some more ideas and would like to be a part of your sitdown discussion. The want to be has spoken!

With the holidays coming and the colder weather I doubt we will be doing any car related events until spring. If anyone has ideas to get together I'd like to hear them. If not, we always have the forum to keep in contact.

Anyone want to plan a get together soon, or are we going to wait until after the first of the year?

Is there any interest in going to the Conowingo Dam again, I found out it is eagle fest, Apparently they stop at the dam for a few weeks as they are flying to their next destination. It ends the first week of Dec., I have been told you could see as many as 20 eagles in the trees around the damn as they feed on fish.
Gerrie and I were their last weekend and saw 5 in the trees.

Sounds cool but I'd rather have a social outing this time of some sort...maybe get some others that don't come out so far....but if you decide to plan it let me know.

I'm up for a gathering or a cruise. It's going to be tough with the holidays just around the corner but what about starting the bidding with the first full weekend in December? Maybe a breakfast on that Saturday or Sunday?

Someone set it up, and make it happen. Make sure you check the discussion on facebook and get everyone on the same page. set the date, time and location. if people show up they do, if not we do it again next month. that was the idea, more social gatherings, less car events. make the club interesting to all so it will grow.

I would not be able to do the 8th, Ravens home football game, but please if there is more interest in having it on Sunday rather than Saturday don't move it for me.

Hey COM members,

I started having a problem with my headliner where it has started to detach. Does anyone know of a place that can replace this for a decent price. I have been quoted mostly in the $600 range and I am really not trying to pay that much. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I've had two Crossfire headliners done at:
Car Upholstery by Joe's Upholstery Shop

Cost between $150-$200 depending on fabric ... and I brought them my headliner out of the car

Thanks Dave!

I'm trying to finish up the other Crossfire ... but, as soon as I'm done I'll give you a shout so we can finally get to work on yours
And if anyone else needs a little work done as well I may set up a little shop day...
