Crossfires of Maryland (COM)
I will need to be back home by 5:00 for another obligation.
Copy of e-mail sent from Northern Chesapeake Sheltie Rescue.
Happy Monday!
I first want to thank Dave and the Crossfires of Maryland for the phenomenal fundraiser they sponsored on Saturday! I think it exceeded all our expectations! The venue was beautiful and the cars were amazing! I wish we had a chance to sample some Linganore wine; I plan to go back and do that.
Crossfires of Maryland presented NCSR with a check for $1050.00! On top of that we took in $267.00 in sales and donations. The Ravens ticket raffle took in $90.00 for the day, bringing the total for that raffle to $385.00!
Thank you again!!!

The show was great I vote for keeping it at the same venue, if they will have us. I just spoke to the food vendor, he called to see how he rated, I know it's up to the board for a Vote but I would like to keep them, we spoke about next year they could bring some frozen deserts to also sell on a hot day.
Jason aireal shot looks great.
I thought everyone might like to see some interesting facts from our show.

I also have a kettlecorn guy who is interested.
Nothing but really good feedback from the people I spoke with on the food, the venue and frankly the show itself.
I have some thoughts on a few tweeks for next year as well but mostly we simply need more commitment for help.
I too am glad we have a full year to plan.
I hope this work better as an attachment.

Both the original and the new one worked for me.
So, the Ghost Rider Show is free. No registration. I'm assuming it's just that they get some proceeds from the winery and or the other vendors? Anyway, it says the music starts at 1pm. Should we plan to be up their earlier so we can do the wine tasting etc. Thoughts? Meet up along the way or just up there? Near by?

hahahaha im sure. we had a rush of people when they all showed up at one time. yeah give a call, we can figure it out.
OK...I'm confused also now...
Can you post information about the Mopar Birthday Party this weekend so we can check it out in case anyone else wants to head up with you? Or a link to the info would help....and who else is going.
The Aug 25th show is the Ghost Ryders show - I would like to go to that - maybe let us know what time and place to meet up to drive up together would be helpful so we can plan...assume others want to go also.
Paul mentioned a show on the 26th in Urbana, MD - is this anything you guys want to go to also? Is there a sheet or link on the info about what it is?
Then, did you decide the date of the Crab Deck trip will be Sept 29th? Does this place serve other food for those who can't or won't eat seafood?
At one of these shows it would be nice to review notes everyone makes about our show that they would like to change so we could build a plan for next year while it is all fresh in our heads. Or do we need another club get together free of any shows?

I posted the flyer for the mopar birthday party thing a couple of days ago (the forum gave me an error messgage saying i cant attach the file twice). that is really it. its just a guy's birthday. he likes mopars and wants them at his house. he cooks a bunch of burgers and dogs, and if you have a mopar you get to eat. if you have any other car you can still hang out, but be ready to have him and his family made fun of you for not having a mopar.
the crab deck has about 85% seafood. they do serve chicken, steaks and burgers.
Fisherman's Inn and Crab Deck, Kent Island Maryland, Restaurant and Bar with crabs, crab cakes, steamed crabs, crab feast, seafood
the ghost ryderz cruise on the 25th is a 2hour drive for most of us. this is up to you if you want to attend. they have a car show in october. this will be the event we supprt to say "thanks" for showing up to ours. i still may go to the cruise on the 25th. its close enough to the town that i can go to the car cruise for an hour or two, and then go to the history stuff at Gettysburg.

August 25th show at Adams County Winery is "optional" then. I still may go. It's a nice drive and heck, some more wine can't hurt. I'd say try to hitch up and go early, that way Dave can get back home for his 5 pm commitment. Pick a time and then decide where to meet up for the fly in.
The one in Urbana is on August 26th. It's close for me so I may go but I'm not likely to get a pass for both days but we'll see.
Looks like I'll be busy that weekend I'm going to both.
So, October 14 is the Ghost Ryderz Show we are going to as COM to show support for their Club. It's in Glen Burnie and goes from 8am to 1pm........Registration is Donation on Site. I put it on my calendar. Only thing that may prevent me from going is if I'm out of town, but I think I'm in.

I figured you might end up with that conclusion. Perfectly understood. We'll catch up either in Septebmer or October (or both).
So..............can we get a consensus on the Crab Deck for 29 September? I will post the flyer on this site and everyone can print a few to give to other xfire drivers! Just remember that "sooner" is better than "later"! You guys rock!
I'm good for September 29th. the Ravens are not playing that day.
