Crossfires of Maryland (COM)
Cool. I'll need two XLs (one for James, one for me).
I got 2 more in the mail yesterday, Husband and wife, Corvette and crossfire.
I'll bring a deposit slip with me on Sunday, so you can make the deposit.
Hey has anyone heard about Bamboo Bernies Biker Bash, Bamboo Bernie's USA - 410.647.6100 , this Sunday I have been hearing advertisments, that they are asking people to bring custom and muscle cars to show.
Shoudl we go to this instead of SRT gathering?
Show is Sunday 12 - 4 in Pasadena.

Hey Dave, I cant do Bamboo Bernies after the Darkside BBQ. I have to make a trip across the bridge for a family outing.
I'm glad that things are gearing up to be a good time by all next weekend. Since I have everyone's attention. Looking forward to having our Second Annual Crossfires over the Bay reunion at the Crab Deck! Of course you do remember the place............where we got this thing(COM) started!! The date will be September 22 at 3:00 P.M. Just like last year.............it will be a "pay as you go" event. I intend to have flyers available at the car show and will be mailing them out to all the owners that are in my database. Should be fun! Don't worry if you can't make it...............we will have enough fun for everyone!

Hello, Nick, Mark and Carrie Jo,
Jessica at Linganore mentioned you might be interested in our upcoming show this coming weekend.
Our brochure and registration information can be accessed at the following link:
http://www.linganorewines.com/PDF/co...compressed.pdf
Our club, Crossfires of Maryland, is a relatively new club but we are all total car enthusiat and welcome all clubs. With registration you get a free wine tasting (courstesy of the winery), goody bags and plaques for the first 50 registrants, and plaques for the winners of the categories.
We will have drawings, music, several food services, etc.
Hope you and some of your members will consider coming. It's a great venue and should be a fun day.
Enjoy the ride.

Just don't give mine away. I'll get it on Saturday morning. I need an XL as well.
Picked up the 20 cases of water. Good thing I have a van. They gave me the 35 count cases, not just 24 count cases. We have 700 water bottles!!!!! I likely won't be bringing all 20 cases, but likely 12 - 14. My son will bring them up in his car. I'll may have my wife bring up the other cases later. This stuff will go stale after a while so we can't store it for a full year so I'd suggest we dose out remaining cases to the members to take home to use after the event (what ever is left over).
The Mini Cooper Club asked if they'd all be parked together. I told him we could do that. I know they can enter some in late model and / or imports. We'll see how they decide to do that and fiqure out how to group them on site.

Hey guys - got a message last night on my facebook page from the Nissan Z's club - they are coming to the show this weekend - the guy didnt say how many. Chas, I think he left a message on the COM facebook page also, so you may want to check it out....I replied to him and answered his questions.
Paul I gotta check - I think we might be one short on the XL tees now - I have extra 2xl if you wanna wash it a couple times! Or if you really feel buff, we got ' L', but I'll check at home.
I am also getting calls on directions - they are available on the Linganore website but in case you need it, here is the link - Chas can you add this to the facebook page also?

Paul I checked and you are going to have to duke it out with Chas...he ordered a L but got an XL instead. I'll hold the 2x for you. All that is left is a large and a medium if anyone needs one.
I've talked with three people who are planning on coming Saturday - 1st guy has assorted cars to choose from and is from up around Westminster. 2nd is from W. Virginia and has a dropped old truck with brew tank on the bed and taps off the radiator (this should be interesting)- says he always becomes the center of attention at shows. 3rd guy has an old 'Cuda convertible. All three will be registering at the gate Saturday.

So, it seems we are beginning to creep up on possible registrations. We had 19, between what you've said and Chas, we've added about 6 more, then if the mini club brings 10 to 12 and the Z club brings some, we are approaching 40. Hopefully we'll get some more onsite and we'll get to our target of 50.

I will look at my schedule and bring optional dates to car show.
James, great idea on the crab deck GTG, we can work out the details after our show.
We need to continue going to events as a club. we were impressive arriving at Mason-Dixon and the SRT meet at the Dark Side, we need to continue this.
The Natty BoH car show, had a big turn out last year (from what i heard). this is one we can think about.
Also the saturday (aug 18) after our show, there is a mopar event in Aberdeen. I went to this event last year. It is a guy's birthday party. he is a big fan of Chrysler cars. fixes a bunch of food and beverages and everyone that has a cool car is invited. Mopars are given special treatment, all other are given a hard time, but its all in good fun. Best of all its FREE!! show up, bring your car, eat, give a donation if you want and call it a day. I went last year with some of the cool people from Maryland Mopars and had a blast. I sugest we go as a group..........buuuut I'll be there in the Plymouth.
The Grand Prix of Baltimore is the weekend of Labor Day 8/31 to 9/2. this is a pricey event. GA tickets are $50, and Paddock passes are $40. My brother went to the Mid-Ohio race last weekend and said that SRT had a huge tent and they were doing lots of things for fans. we will not be able to show off our cars, but it would be good to rub elbows with SRT, if they will be at the race.
Oh, got a box of items from SRT to give out to people at our show.

Not likely to make the September 22 date either. I will be visiting my son at college. If date changes, let me know. The following weekend seems open for me now (29th).

My thoughts exactly Chas....Dave, I'll pick up some more so just bring what you planned to bring.
That's too funny....don't let the doughnuts start the day off wrong.
I have a question - when people get there - how do they get their free wine tasting? Are we suppose to have something to give them to turn in to the Linganore staff to show they are with the show and get a free tasting?
8 AM Saturday morning at the location, right?
