ok got another email from Tarah at Acura. they want to bring two cars, the ILX, and the RDX. they will register them both, and will be fine in the middle of the show field or where ever we can put them. if they can they would like to put a table (one they bring) with the cars, and have promotional information about the new cars. maybe even some promo stuff for the goodie bags, or give aways. I really see no problem with this, as long as the winery is fine with it. they will not be walking around "selling" cars, just sitting there answering questions if people come around, and enjoying the show.

Of course it's ok. The more, the merrier. It's an open show and if Acura wants to hang with the Crossfires great. The exposure and association along can only help our cause.

Chas you want to meet somewhere and caravan?

Sure Dave, just name the spot and time. Wyatt and another, possible new member, Crossfire owner are meeting me at my house around 0815 hours.

Jason, I suggest you respond to Ms. Mendez and stress the fact that the car show is a charitable event and ascertain if the dealership wanted to make a donation to the Recovery.

got that covered, we can discuss plans forthe dealership donation on sunday.

The dealership wants to bring two cars, they will be registered for the show area. the question they had was will they be able to put a table (that they bring) with their cars. they want to put out promotional, and sales information. i told them we needed to make sure putting up an additional table was ok with the winery. I emailed Paul, and he is trying to contact the winery to make sure its ok.

Jason,

10:30 tomorrow at the Winery.......OK?

Spoke with Mike at the Winery. We are good on all counts, including the Acura cars and table. Also, I might have an opportunity for them if they want to do a show at the winery too. I'll give you details later. Can you make it tomorrow?

I think it's great that Acura wants to stick a couple cars there! Nice to see a slight angle on the show - ads some validity.

Do we know how many people have registered so far?

Anyone of you guys Eurocharged / Tuned your cars yet? I've been thinking about buying the tune for myself for fathers day. I've registered with them but haven't received my activation code yet. I would have purchased it already but I can't until they activate me. I figured I'd check with you guys to see who has and what your experiences may be with it. I'm curious to see how the extra HP feels in my NA.

OK, so I'm registered and active on the Eurocharged Site and ready to purchase the tune........... but........the Disclaimer makes me a little nervous........... maybe I'll just think on this.

Paul, most nonfactory mods will void a warranty. basicly that says "we are 99% sure this will work, but if you're the 1% that gets screwed up, dont yell at us to fix it." All mods cary a risk, you just have to decide if it's worth the risk.

Yeah, I appreciate the risk factor and that it applies to all mods. When messing with computer settings which control multiple functions that's when I begin to think I don't want to fall into the 1% area of risk. Hardward is one thing, which does have impacts based on feedback to the cars computer, but software programing means actual changes to many of the parameters. I know people have had really good results and feed back on these tunes, but I've also read some horror stories (although not necessarily directly linked back to the tune). Oh well, the question falls back to me.......do I roll the dice or just be happy with my current HP fun factor..........hmmmmmmmmmmmm
